While many fans originally thought a Disney+ SPOILER spinoff could be in the works — and that could still be a possibility — IMDb has now shared a report that Dawson has signed-on for a three-movie deal with Lucasfilm.
According to their post:
Insider Daniel Richtman is claiming that the actress has signed on for three feature films, in addition to a recurring role on the Mouse House’s streaming service. Coincidentally, there are currently three Star Wars movies in development. One’s being spearheaded by Kevin Feige, another’s in the hands of Taika Waititi and the third is being worked on by the relatively unknown duo of J.D. Dillard and Matt Owens. Release dates are already staked out for a trio of new blockbusters in December of 2023, 2025 and 2027, so if Dawson has really inked a three-picture deal, you’d expect her to show up in at least one of them.

At first glance, I was super excited based on how good Dawson's version of a certain character looked in a recent episode of The Mandalorian....
And then I realized Kathleen Kennedy is still working...
Please just have Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni direct a new trilogy damnit.

How old is Ahsoka going to be in this? Will she have sat out yet another trilogy of Jedi wars?

If Filoni/Favreau aren't handling that, I am going to be extremely disappointed.

The Mandalorian is a back door soft reboot for the sequels and Ahsoka will meet up with Luke played by Sebastian Stan and rebuild the Jedi Order outside of the Republic and deal with the remnants of the Old Empire.

KK's contract is up in like 6 months, and there hasn't been any talk of renewing it. Meanwhile, the Disney execs would have to be blind and deaf not to perceive the overwhelming support for Favreau's and Filoni's Mandalorian show.
My question is this: After years of "the force is female", and shoving politics into the last 3 movies, will Disney actually do the right thing and replace a woman with two middle-aged straight white men?
It's obvious to any fan of The Mandalorian that a team of Favreau and Filoni as the leaders with Lucas in an advisory role is the way to go. But can they admit their (and Kennedy's) failures and bite the bullet?

It’s like 50/50 if I’m even still alive for any those.

Yeah. But I have to say some Ahsoka is better than no Ahsoka. It's clear she is still searching for Ezra since she asked about Thrawn.

She's a loony tunes transphobe liberal who is fricking Corey Booker. She can get as naked as she wants. She's a piece of shite.

So she supposedly pisses off everyone then? Perfect!!
( the transphobic stuff is unproven & likely a stunt to get some $ out of a celebrity employer or a cry for help )
But # away,!
