The Andor apathy, and the only occasional, begrudging acknowledgement that it's good, suggests this fanbase is more interested than bitching about things than it is a show that "doesn't suck."

Notice how it’s fine for him to label the entire board but you’re not allowed to speak for it’s defense? This is common with the type, hypocrisy is a necessity for him because in a fair and honest discussion he’s a loser 100% of the time.

Having a person, entity, or company demand you like something irrespective of all else is activism disguised as marketing. Disney calling fans sexists before the show dropped (and before the alleged "review bombing") is an example of this. "Star Wars fans are sexists and bigots" The insinuation being that you can prove you are not a bigot by falling in line with their activism.
The problem is you have activist factions within Disney that are willing to sacrifice brands for their activist aims. Star Wars will likely be a casualty of the lefties' culture war.
Marvel seems to at least want to course correct, but Star Wars just wants to double down on that which keeps failing in service of messaging and/or grooming (but not the kid fricking kind. . . .well. . .yet).

It wasn't marketed well, and the first 2 episodes were a bit of a slog.
But it was truly great
I have little faith in Disney, so I am gritting my teeth as I await season 2.
Can Disney make a season of a show today without the usual bullshite messaging?
I have my doubts. The last show they did this year had no overt messaging focus, X-Men '97. . .and they were so incensed they fired the writer/showrunner for his trouble.
