A fan made edit of Rogue One if it was made as the conclusion of Andor. I'm kind of interested in this and have been thinking of doing an Andor rewatch.
It comes out on the 25th.

Outside of having an intro taken from Andor, what's happening here?

Whatever. We only care about two scenes in the movie.

I just finished a rewatch of Andor last week. (1 or 2 episodes a night after the wife fell asleep)
Hot take: Cassian Andor is a top 5 Star Wars character behind only Luke, Han, Vader, and Sheev.
Less Hot take: Andor is the best Star Wars since the OT.
It’s everything I want my Star Wars to be. Real people. Real action dynamics. (Stormtroopers are dangerous. A nerdy accountant beat the brakes of the main action hero. No superhero bullshite)
Rogue One was ok. Not bad. Not great. Kinda boring in spots, and I’m still torn about the flaw being a purposeful, man-made design. Still, I love the dirty, WW1 & 2 and British vibe of early Star Wars. It had that in spades. Mustaches galore.
I’ll definitely watch this cut.

Absolutely no way can you not include ObiWan in a top 5, but I agree that Cassian is right up there
Unpopular opinion: if I did a Mt Rushmore of Star Wars, it’s Anakin/Vader, Han, Palpatine, and Obi Wan. Luke doesn’t make it

Well that’s just silly. Despite George Lucas’ lies and revisionist history, Star Wars is Luke Skywalker’s journey. Not Vader’s.
Obi-Wan is cool. I prefer characters with conflict and growth though. Luke, Han, Vader all have a set arc they travel through, be it boy to man, scoundrel to hero, or evil to good. Obi-Wan has no such arc. He’s just always the wise Jedi.
I know Sheev doesn’t change either, but he’s just so fun and silly. The only thing from the sequels I accept as cannon is that he was getting down making babies. Probably all over the galaxy. No way does someone embrace the dark side and not have a harem.

I said unpopular opinion. Though the existence of the prequels and ending with Vader’s death actually does make Star Wars Anakin’s journey, not Luke’s. And even throughout the OT, we get bits and pieces of Anakin’s story as Vader that continue to develop him

Ok now I think you’re just ignoring the prequels. If so, Obi Wan is a static character. But if you include the prequels, he has a great arc

Pretty much. Andor. OT. Thrawn Trilogy. Maybe some Ewok Adventures. That’s my Star Wars.
The rest is just sometimes good/mostly bad fan fiction.
