Just the opposite for me.

I really enjoyed BR. Since COVID, I've watched it again a couple times.

RM didn't do much for me. One time was plenty.

Rami WAS Freddie in BoRap and that made the difference to me. Ol boy in Rocketman did well, and A for effort in trying to sing Elton throughout, but man someone of his songs just took me out of it. IN his defense, GL to anyone trying to do what he did and get away with sounding exactly like Elton.

Two completely different approaches to telling a story in the two movies. I thought both were fun, but enjoyed BoRap more.

Yeah I kinda wish it had been a mini series so they could have done more.

Didn't care for either but Bhomeian was better - told a fuller story.

Rocketman was a discography.

I still no nothing about Elton John except he was gay, his parents hated him, thought he didn't work for his talent and had good songs.

Walk the Line and especially LaBamba were better than both.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this topic. I liked that the songs and music of Bohemian Rhapsody followed the story of Queen & Freddie Mercury in chronological order.

Rocket Man, on the other hand, used Elton John songs to accentuate whatever was happening in Elton's life at the time. As a result, something like Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting was played before Crocodile Rock. I may be alone, but playing songs out of order gave the film a disjointed feel. And, Rocket Man was a musical, whereas Bohemian Rhapsody, IMO, used music to accentuate what was already a good story.
