On Sunday, Dec. 14, at about 3:30 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) was called to a home to provide medical aid, the LAFD told PEOPLE. Upon arrival, they found a man, 78, and a woman, 68, dead. Sources confirm the victims were Rob and Michele.
Police say Nick, 32, is alive and being questioned. No arrests have been made.
Rob is a director, producer and actor whose career includes some of Hollywood’s most beloved films — from his 1984 directorial debut, This Is Spinal Tap, to Stand by Me (1986), The Princess Bride (1987), When Harry Met Sally... (1989), Misery (1990) and A Few Good Men (1992).

It's very unlikely that two people would die naturally at the same time. I know it happened with Gene Hackman but he was mid-90s and invalid.
The options here are: (1) mutual suicide pact, (2) murder suicide or (3) double murder.

Doubtful. Robbery and homicide detectives are reportedly at the scene. Take this with a HUGE grain of salt but rumor is they were killed by Reiner’s son.

I kinda don't trust anyone who doesn't like Spinal Tap OR Princess Bride.
That said, it was sad to see him get so consumed with his hatred. I'm fully convinced Hollywood has a culture where you have to one up your piers when displaying just how much you hate Trump. (Or the USA, Freedom, Capitalism, etc.. ) There's a type of hatred that feeds itself, and Rob was a glutton in a few areas.
Doesn't sound like he found peace before he checked out.
