Thought it would be lame based on some of the comments.

Very good. May be better than the first.

Sure, one could have predicted the "who" early on...but the real mystery was in how it was done, the way it was done, and everything that went into it that was unseen.

How do you predict who did it early on, but not know how and why?

That is not really figuring it out.

It's a prediction. You look at all the characters that could have had a motive and opportunity and make a prediction..."I think he/she did it."

Then you watch and get the details...

I didn't say you figure it out, I said you can predict it. Just like any mystery movie.

I wasn't offended by anything church related, I just didn't think it was a great movie. Nowhere near the first one for me.

I wasn’t a fan of the priests and bishops cursing, and the scene of Grace desecrating the church was very hard to watch. Otherwise, I agree.

Blanc having a “Damascus moment” and stepping out of the sanctuary was such a nice touch.

The church setting was well done and nothing in the film seemed like an attack on religion to me

Seemed more like they were throwing barbs at the woke right to me.

I’m Protestant but have a heavy respect for Catholics. I grew up in a Czech/German Catholic community.

Every priest I have ever known cusses with ease.

The church and Wicks made no sense within the context of Catholicism. That isn't how the Catholic church works at all

Otherwise I somewhat enjoyed it
