Dude scrambling to find an ammo box because the random shotgun was empty is probably the most Resident Evil thing I've seen in a live action Resident Evil movie

I'm in. I am always up for a zombie movie since they are one of my favorite horror movie types.
Can't be any worse than the terrible RE movie series with Jojovich, however you spell her name.

Loved the original trilogy. Didnt like the others. But this is a good trailer so I will probably watch.

I will never forgive those movies for introducing Leon halfway through one of the movies and killing him off in-between movies

Did you ever play the Resident Evil games?
Jovanovich?? was never in any one of them. She got to play the part because she was married to Paul Anderson. She basically fricked and sucked her way into being the main character.
They were bullchit movies.

Can’t wait. The Milla Jovavich ones were fine for what they were, just kinda generic action-horror. This looks darker and closer in tone to the games, which is what tons of us have always wanted.

Whether this movie is good or not really doesn't even concern me, I'm fundamentally against hijacking an IP's brand name and using it as a vehicle to for someone to tell their own little story. This has happened a billion times before and looks no different here. Just a zombie movie set in winter time, you could slap a new title on it and nobody would have ever known it was "Resident Evil"

This is pretty much where I stand. The trailer looks good and everything but if you’re not gonna use Leon and Clair etc to tell this story then don’t call it resident evil.
