Totally did not realize that Alice was also, Kelly, from People of Earth.

Man, she's easy to look at.

I really enjoyed the first 2 episodes on YouTube. It'll be fun watching him warm up to humans.

Taking pics during a vaginal exam on episodes 2, was lol...He immediately said he was taking a selfie. It’s pretty funny, worth the watch for me...

I like that he demands people call him Big Black too. His beat boxing was hilarious

Big Black seems like he'd have fit in just fine in Northern Exposure. There's a more than a few moments which remind me of that show.

" Floater watch party ".

This show has some smart writers.

Not sure if the board has given up on RA already, but finally got around to watching Episode 4. I’ll avoid spoilers just in case, but thought it was the best one so far, the funniest and most insightful.

Side note, noticed this episode was directed by Jay Chandrasekhar, which maybe helped w/ the comedy aspect.

Still on it, and I’ve been a big fan so far. They swing back and forth between big laughs and engaging drama pretty rapidly. But effectively in my opinion. The whole sequence with Asta’s extended family was extremely well done

I don’t know how to quote, but totally agree w/ the two replies to my post. Alan Tudyk is great, so is the supporting cast, especially Big Black, his female deputy, D’arcy, and Asta. Really enjoying this show.

alajones2 and I are watching it. It’s pretty funny. I don’t necessarily agree with all the creative decisions being made. But it’s funny and Tudyk is very talented.

The dramatic elements are pretty well done and the side characters are pretty funny

It is a bit oddly paced, but I'm on board.

His balls are nuts.

Wait the doctor who died months before the town doctor killed the town doctor?

Harry Vanderspeigle wasn't the 'town ' doctor. Until he was.

It's only been 4 episodes. Try and keep up.

Pretty sure that’s not what he was saying.

He was responding to what someone who theorized that the original Harry is the one who killed the original town doctor. His response, as I read it, was that theory couldn’t hold given that Harry was killed by the alien months before the town doctor died.

No need to be a dick; this isn’t the OT.

Wasn’t being a dick. Just read the post and replied. What sense would it make to assume that the part-time resident, who wasn’t really a member of the local town would kill the full-time doctor?

And as stated above, the town doc died months after the original Harry was killed by the alien

Well that’s exactly the point, it wouldn’t make sense. Which is exactly what Napoleon was pointing out in his (what I believe to be) sarcastic reply to LeClerc. Napoleon seems to have kept up with the show just fine after 4 episodes; he was pointing out why the other poster’s theory didn’t make any sense.

At least that’s how I read their exchange.

I freely admit I didn’t read back to the prior post & may have missed sarcasm or full meaning.
