This is something cool that my son and I have been doing. We have movie nights and we pick out old movies to watch that I grew up watching.

So far what we have watched together and that he enjoyed.

Star Wars - Not all but some.
Rocky Franchise - All but Creed II so far
Adam Sandler - Big Daddy, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison etc...
Tommy Boy
Gremlins
Goonies
Sandlot
Field of Dreams
Blindside
Back to the Future 1-3

On the list
The Indiana Jones series

Other suggestions? I'm looking for movies that I have forgotten about.

Any suggestions...and keep in mind that he is 11 so he can't watch American Pie, for example.
Thanks.

I'll add that to my already watched list. The Sandlot has gone Triple platinum in my household

Top Gun is an excellent suggestion. Thanks

Jurassic Park
Men in Black
Independence Day
The Mummy/Mummy Returns
Lord of the Rings
Pirates of the Caribbean
X2: X-Men United
The Dark Knight trilogy
Hellboy/Hellboy II
National Treasure/Part 2

Don't think any of these should be too graphic

About that age I got into the classic black and white monster movies. Initially to lampoon but they grew on me.

I remember being around 11 when my dad brought home the matrix and told me “son this is really cool, we’re gonna check this out.” Aside from that I’ve seen just about every Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean Claude van Damme, and Steven Segal movie with my dad. The beastmaster, Flash Gordon, Clash of The Titans. We are a simple people
