We just finished haunting of blye manor and have one episode left to Utopia on prime. The wife and I loved haunting of hill house and was excited for blye. It was just ok. Not nearly as scary as hill but the story was decent.
Utopia, on the other hand, is fantastic so far. Really love this series. Can’t wait for season / on another year.

We also are almost finished with dark. It’s a really good show but I’m ready for it to end. We are in season 3 and I had enough with the twists and tine warps..

Up next is La Revolution on Netflix. Looks interesting. We also have to pick back up on the boys on Prime.

I really liked Utopia as well. It hasn’t been received well here, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

You might be the first person that I have seen recommend Utopia. We almost started it but were scared away by the poor reviews from our friends.

Currently watching Bly but will need a new series when finished. Guess we might just try Utopia.

We liked it. We don't normally binge series in a few days, but the wife and i finished it last night. Not sure why all the negative reviews. From what i'm seeing its people are just tired of "pandemic". I guess i don't take coronavirus seriously enough to consider it this global killer that some do.

I thought it was pretty well acted and really enjoyed it. I get it has a liberal "we're killing the planet" slant, but the protaganists are about stopping the bad guy, not "saving the planet".

The negative reviews are because it’s a watered down, spoon fed version of the original Utopia. I tried to watch the amazon version, but once the narrator came on and started explain everything that took the British show weeks to lay out, I turned it off.

I’m sure it’s good if you don’t have the original to compare it to, but if you’ve seen the original, the new one feels like it was dumbed down for an American audience

I had read a thread about the Amazon remake earlier in the year from PhilipMarlowe, and put it in my queue. Finally watched the remake last week. It wasn't great, but was worth the time. I enjoyed it.

When I had finished the new one Amazon sent me to the original, that's also on Prime. I finished the second season of it last night, and was hoping there would be a third one because it deserves more. There wasn't any resolution at the end of the second season. I felt like it was set up to have another season. Was there supposed to be more? Did it not do as well as the original producers wanted? Is Amazon's plan to have season two, with similar results, and carry it on from there?

Really want more of the original cast/show.
