That house is just unreal. I love it!! Although I have to say, I thought that the closets in the kids rooms were a little small.

My gf and I were talking about this last night and this morning, and we both believe that Jacqueline is easily the nicest one. She's almost too nice for her own good.

Caroline isn't really that bad, because she is not selfish at all. She cares about her family a lot, and can be a bit overprotective and maybe controlling, but again, her motives are pure.

I still don't have a solid read on Dina.

Teresa seems to be a nice person, but she's an airhead who is going to have a serious nightmare on her hands in about 10 years when all those girls are teenagers and preteens. It's going to be absolutely nuts. Those girls are WAY too spoiled and diva-ed up. You can tell that Teresa is one of those people who didn't have a lot growing up and is over compensating and living vicariously through her daughters now.

Danielle showed that she's even more evil and manipulative than I thought last night. The scene with her and her gay friend proved that. Also, the dance scene was pretty bad. I will give her credit for corrected Teresa's husband on what he was saying, but she should NOT have taken that shot at Teresa.

Also, if Danielle is so open about talking about her past as she claims to be, then why is she so upset about the book and why didn't she just come forward about that stuff upon first meeting people? Methinks that the book has more truth in it than she claims.

And I'm still pissed that the table didn't happen last night. I'm giving them one more week before I go to Bravo HQ and demand that they show it.

I've decided that this is the best show on television.

And here's my thing about the book - if you didn't want it out there in the public, why'd you decide to do this show? You had to know that someone would find it.

Oh, yeah, and Teresa's house is greatness.

Great bitchy comment about it, from my gf when Teresa said that she wanted to make it look like a French Chateau: "As if she's ever been to one..."

I am guessing that when they were casting the show needed a villain so I am certain that the producers cast Danielle fully knowing her past and wanting to use it as a story line. Remember Jacqueline said she met Danielle at the Hair Salon and they struck up a 3 1/2 hour conversation about being single moms. That is something that could easily be concocted by Producers to introduce her into the show. Notice how they never addressed how the book suddenly appeared. All they said were there were rumors, then Caroline knew someone that found out about Danielle, etc. Sounds like a bunch of BS to me, especially when there is very little reality on a reality show.

Looking at Theresa's personal style, the Wilhemina agency lady telling her to go natural had to blow her mind because she clearly doesn't know what natural is. If I was a modeling scout, I would sign Danielle's oldest daughter. That girl has what model scouts look for, the height, the natural beauty, skin quality etc. Theresa's house is nice but the floors and all of the details are as overdone as her eye makeup. I agree with Soph, Theresa seems like she is way over compensating for her own childhood and her kids are going to be fricked up

I thought the kids rooms were small for the size of the house. My childhood room was about that size and the house was 2000 sq ft. Maybe the cameras did a bad job of shooting it. The master bedroom looks giant.

Teresa's house = WOW And I love that her husband just broke out another huge wad of cash to pay for stuff.

Can't wait for next week!

That house is ugly on the outside. Wayy over the top. The inside is pretty but outside is yuck.

Real Housewives of New Jersey' recap: 'Cop Without a Badge' surfaces to Danielle's dismay
by Vicki Hyman/The Star-Ledger
Wednesday June 03, 2009, 12:00 AM
BRAVODanielle Staub

Danielle Staub is upset that news of her criminal record has emerged in sunny Franklin Lakes, but her tears take a backseat to her fury at Dina Manzo for allegedly spreading the news. (For those of you just tuning in). The ladies of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" appear to be focused on the kidnapping charge, even though it's not like Danielle was accused of plucking preschoolers off the mean streets of Coconut Grove. Disappointingly, not much is said about the other allegations in "Cop Without a Badge," to wit: the stripping at Satin Dolls, the thousand bedmates, the cocaine binges, the association with a Colombian cartel. But Dina and her sister Caroline Manzo want to use Danielle's criminal past as another wedge between Danielle and their beloved sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita.

Hips don't lie: Teresa Giudice has a sudden (and likely producer-prompted) hankering to learn salsa, so she ropes the gals (except Dina) and their husbands and/or sons to a local dance studio for some lessons. Danielle grandly proclaims that "I do have a professional background in dance" (she's about to learn that the other ladies are quite aware of her, how shall we say, experience). She pairs with Albie, Caroline's son, and tries to get him in the mood: "Feel my hips ... just feel my hips." Caroline is disapproving. (Later Albie says, "I'm terrified of Danielle," but does not appear to be irrevocably traumatized by the experience.)

Dancing Queen: The real brouhaha erupts when Teresa's husband, Joe, makes repeated gay jokes at the studio. "We will have no more of that, Joe," Danielle tells him sternly. "Be quiet," he responds. "Don't tell me to be quiet either," she shoots back. "I'm not your wife." Not nice, but not exactly the verbal equivalent of shooting Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The Guidices, however, are livid. "She better make like she don't know me," Joe mutters to his wife, while Teresa interprets Danielle's comments as belittling, and says she's had it with Danielle. We later hear from Danielle that she called Teresa to apologize, and Teresa hung up on her.

The Manzo Family Book Club: Caroline claims that her niece called her and told her, Dina and Danielle about the allegations in "Cop Without A Badge." Caroline picked up a copy at the library and "we read it together as a group." Caroline says she's got "tremendous concerns," while Teresa proves that daughter Gia is not the only drama queen in the family: "If we hang out with her, we're in danger also! ... They're like, 'Would you want your kids around someone who's a kidnapper?'" Please. Caroline and Dina say that sooner or later, Jacqueline is going to have to choose between Danielle and "the Family." Or maybe we're just projecting the capital F.

Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer: Danielle arrives at Jacqueline's with a bottle of bubbly in hand (because Champagne and confessions of felonies past are a natural pairing). She knows Jacqueline has heard about the book and want to tell her side of the story. Well, part of it. Danielle claims she had been at a modeling shoot and dropped in on her boyfriend, who rather inconveniently was in the midst of a federal bust. When Jacqueline asked her if the allegations that her boyfriend kidnapped and tortured another man are true, Danielle would only say, "I really am not going to answer that." Danielle blames Dina for spreading stories about her past, and claims that Dina showed copies of the book to women at their hair salon.

Back at Giudice Manor: Teresa's chateau is just about done, and some delivery guys show up with $120,000 worth of furniture that Teresa picked out in the season premiere. Joe appears to pay the balance in cash. "Be gentle with my pillows," she trills to the movers. Wouldn't want them to break. The master bedroom looks to be larger than Wyckoff. Gia's got her own Jacuzzi tub. The hallways are paved in onyx and black diamonds. We're only half kidding. Teresa also gets a call from Gia's agent telling her that Gia is booked for "Gossip Girl" this week. "A lot of people want me these days," sighs Gia.

The truth, or "truth," comes out: Danielle spills a little more about the arrest to her gay best friend, Tommy. She tells him that she had been at a modeling shoot in Cozumel, and stopped by her boyfriend's 30-room house -- and how is she expected to keep track of what is happening in all 30 rooms, riiiiight? She says that she was a "victim of circumstance ... I was literally at the wrong place at the wrong time." She breaks down in tears, saying, "These b------ around here don't understand what I had to go through." Tommy plays consigliere and advises her to confront Dina.

On location: Fratelli in Ridgewood, and Aleksandr Chmerkovskiy's studio Dance With Me in Ridgefield.

Best quote: "It's hard for me to see my little girl getting bubbies." -- Dina Manzo. Not quite as hard as it will be for her 12-year-old daughter to hear her mother talking about her bubbies on national television.

100% agree. Those kids are going to be AWFUL. I love how the oldest one TOLD the man to come help her with her stuff and then said, "gracias" as if he didn't speak any English!

I agree that Danielle's oldest daughter is a very naturally beautiful girl. Her kids are kind of awkward. It seems like the only time Danielle pays attention to them is when the cameras are rolling so it kinda confuses the girls.

I feel really bad for Danielle's girls because kids don't choose their parents. They will end up fricked up out of all of this, and some therapists are going to be living in a house like Teresa's because of their bills.

And just after what, three episodes, you KNOW this is going to be the best reunion show ever after the season is over with.

However, if the table incident doesn't occur next week, all bets are off...

Agree with the first paragraph.

This is going to be a phenom. reunion show. If one of them hasn't been "knocked off" by someone by then it might happen during the show.

Yeah right. You knew when they showed that as a preview that it probably wasn't going to happen until the end of the season. This is how the lure you in..its working, right?

I think the drama is going to get bigger each week. Next week looks awesome!!!!!!!

It could get interesting when the other ladies see the scene of Danielle with her gay friend (can't remember his name).

Best part of this:

"These people have to talk about me to bring me down in order to make themselves feel better."

Not two minutes later Danielle starts talking about Dina and how she is fat or something. And it looked like she was receiving such a thrill from saying it.

definitely agree.

As for Theresa and her grand house, she and her husband apparently have a problem paying their bills (probably why they do pay cash for things, because their credit is shot). There's several collections suits out there against them. No telling what else is out there that they owe. I read a comment on some blog that the episode where she acted like she was handing over 120k, she only handed over 2k, and that she ended up canceling 75% of the order, but not sure of the truthfulness of that.

I love the "dirt" on Jacqueline. She's by far the goody goody of the show. She probably got arrested for slapping someone when she was 18.

that explains why it took them 3 years to build the house.

I told my wife last night that it looked like she had about $5K in her hands and they definitely did not deliver $120K worth of furniture.
