This has to be a top 3 superhero movie of all time, right?

So glad I saw that in the theater. It really is a fantastic movie.

Laura was fricking awesome and more than held her own in her one on one scenes with the Jackman. Pretty impressive.

Easily. Now that Fox is out, I hope WB fills the void of R rated comic book films.

Last act was weak. But still my top pick amongst the genre.

Drooped in the middle some but the last fight and closing were awesome.

Logan, TDK and Winter Soldier are your top 3. Put them in any order you want.

It’s very, very good (best of the franchise), but they ripped off Children of Men. Damn fine rip off but a rip off nonetheless. I’d give Logan 4 out of 4 stars but Children of Men is in my Top 10 movies ever made, so hard to compete with that.

I've yet to see the black & white cut of the movie. Anybody give that a try?

Definitely.

Ironically enough, Logan was something of a swan song for me as it pertains to the genre. After that film was released I slowly began to lose interest in comic book movies. As of right now, I'd probably say my three favorite comic book films of all-time would be The Dark Knight, Logan, and Spider-Man 2.

COM is a masterpiece. Logan is a good and very entertaining "comic book" film. It's great for the genre, but not comparable to COM.

I will need to rewatch this movie at some point. All I hear people say it's one of the greatest comic book movies of all time, but it is just not memorable for me at all. It doesn't stick out to me.

Maybe it'll stick better on a rewatch. I am willing to give it a shot as it was still an entertaining movie at least.

Yeah, I watched a movie tonight that is pretty much a blatant ripoff of a wonderful series... but it’s one hell of a damn good one and I think they knew this and gave some open references to it. Logan is a great movie, but it’s not Children of Men. Logan clearly understands why Children of Men works and bows before it’s excellency, so I don’t mind that as much. Tons of movies and shows have done this with Star Wars for instance.

Oh yeah. Honestly Logan & Nolan Batman are the only ones I care about. GOAT.

It's one of the best comic book movies but would possibly be the GOAT if it followed the plot and setting of Old Man Logan 100%

I wasn't a fan of they dystopian tone. It's a cheap and tired trend which unfortunately is infecting movie making across the board... taking that which was bold, strong and vibrant and just destroying it, dumping all over the once former glory.

See Picard
See Thor Lebowski in End Game
See busted old Terminator in Woke Fate
See Jake Soywalker, in the Disney SW sequels

But hey, if others liked it, that's fine too.

Read the graphic novel Old Man Logan that its based off of. That's how the setting is.

Honestly it’s far less dystopian than the actual Old Man Logan with much less Hulk inbreeding.

I know, the graphic novel is wild in a good way

I read the series online after seeing the movie. Could not believe Marvel Comics made that. Parts of it were just gross-out.
