Just getting to watch this show. No doubt he was made up to appear sickly but he just looked like death warmed over. Was not surprising that he passed away soon after. Not trying to make light of it but it was just shocking how bad he looked. Also surprised at TE (pudgy Elton John) being so jacked.

Such an underrated show. Nobody ever talks about it.

Filmed in Louisiana. I stopped at that little gas station in the middle of nowhere yesterday.

When i watched this for the first time i had no clue where this was filmed but when i saw that scene i knew immediately it was somewhere in louisiana.

Had the same thought about Liotta. I wondered how much was make up and how much was him being in rough shape.
Still had his acting chops though. He was great

I think they rode out a hurricane while filming. Ida I believe.

Local actors had decent roles in this film.

That’s pretty cool. There’s one in Loranger LA that’s had a few movies filmed at it.
Husser’s Quick Stop I think is the name of it. There’s a few photos on the wall of some actors that have been there.
