I love this show.

I buy Sully letting him go....its clear those two had a past. Their falling out was based on Mickey killing Colleen....which he didn't do.

It seems as if Southie's are super emotional too and can be talked off ledges.

I think Sully realized that letting Mickey live to confront Ray about setting him up to be killed was a fitting end to the Sully/Mickey saga. Killing Mickey and giving Ray what he wanted was not punishment enough. Forcing Ray to deal with Mickey himself was far more painful. So Sully took Ray's money and passports and skipped the country

Not to mention he left Ray in a predicament as to what to do with Sean Walkers baby.

1. Leave it there in a seedy motel room
2. Save it knowing it connects him to Sean Walkers murder.

ETA: You people are some misogynistic motherfrickers...you hate every wife on every tv show. Rays wife is actually very bearable to me.

The daughter and Marvin Gaye both suck though.

he's already the most wanted man in america.

That's the point. Sully murdered his girlfriend for making a phone call. The man has avoided capture by being ruthlessly cautious.

There is no way in hell he would allow a known informant, a man who just bragged about working for the FBI to live. All these little Ray vs Mick scenarios would never have occurred to a man like Sully who sees self preservation as the prime directive. He would have taken Mick out a nanosecond after killing Walker.

That was truly a bad episode with some sloppy writing.

You have to consider the emotional side...he now views Ray as an enemy for helping Walker cover up Colleens death.

Sully acted in a way that hurts his new enemy...Ray.

Someone like Sully would never have eluded the FBI for as long as he has by allowing his emotions to dictate his actions.

Remember, he murdered his own girlfriend. There were no emotions in play only survival instincts.

Not only can Mick ID Sully as the killer but he can ID the fat guy with him which could assist the FBI in locating Sully.

Mick dies. Nothing else makes a lick of sense.

This.

The entire episode was ridiculous. Ray giving the money to a bagman without any evidence of the job being completed is not in his character. With all that was on the line Ray would have wanted a photo or some other proof that Mick was really dead before handing over that amount of money. And how does Ray know the bagman isn't ripping everyone off?

The actor would never have admitted to Sully that he killed the girl. Mick had no evidence to present. Just a story.

The wife's growing suspicions based on Ray talking to someone at the gym was over the top as well. It made no sense that she would naturally know the guy was from Boston.

I wanted to like this show but if this episode is evidence of where its going, I'm out.

See I really don't notice things like that unless it is just totally ridiculous. Glad too because I love this show.

Mickey said he was working with the FBI, but he killed the guy in the last episode and there was no mention of this. So I don't see him working with the FBI unless:

The FBI guy Ray has under his thumb sees an opportunity to get out and uses Mickey to pin the murder on Ray.

Maybe someone can kill the wife and daughter too.

Really missing the crazy actress and the lesbian. This show still has potential.

I want to see Ray handle more Hollywood problems like when Tommy was high with no shirt on running around LA sexually assaulting girls in a bar in the middle of the day.

Starting to lose interest. This episode really didn't help. Incredibly predictable, drawn out, phony.

And I can't stand the role of Ray's wife whatsoever. She's fricking heinous. She knows Ray's job involves some shady shite and loves the money and house, yet always tries to pry and ask her stupid fricking questions, "who's that?" "What'd you do, Ray?", blah blah blah. The show would be so much better if a train fell on her head.

And also Mickey setting up Sully's whole family or something like that.

First few episodes were incredibly witty and complex.

Been going downhill steadily.

I love this show, but I agree that Ray's wife is not likeable and the"fight night" episode was like watching a completely different series. Last night was great, as was the rest of the episodes.

Last night was great. The wife finally shut her mouth and let Ray handle his business.

Looking forward to the finale.
