I've always wondered if Obi-Wan was truly trying to hide Luke, why he kept his name Skywalker?

No one gives a shite b/c it was a good movie. See what happens when you make a good movie. Little stupid things like this don't piss off everyone.

What gets me is Luke Skywalker, who saw enough good in a man responsible for billions of deaths, saw no hope for Ben Solo, before he really did anything evil.
Luke, who threw down his lightsaber and refused to fight Vader, came up with the plan to murder his nephew in his sleep because he was afraid of what he might become.
It also bugs the hell out of me that Luke, hero of the rebellion, would let what he fought for be for nothing by allowing the first order to arise. In less than a generation everything he did was rendered meaningless, and his solution was to hide rather than continue the fight.
