Man that's a great suggestion, thanks.

I had never heard of the show but I just watched the whole first season the last two days.

Dept Q is great, but only one season. Season 2 is in the works, I think.

Poldark is very good. Check it out.

It is absolutely next on my list. I clearly didn’t give it its due. A year or two ago I gave it a spin for maybe a season or two and all that stands out is Poldark galloping back and forth between villages lol

Allow me to add that I have long deprived myself of the gem that is Downton Abby. What a fantastic show. Im on season 3 and very much hope it hope it holds its weight for another 3

Again, thank you for the added suggestion. Im bookmarking this thread and plan to give each a shot. Cheers

I Claudius is a complete Masterpiece. However, It looks like they made it for $500 and spent $400 of it on weed.

Poldark is great. I would recommend listening to all of the audiobooks. I would guess that only about 1/3 of the Poldark story makes it into the tv series.

The Durrell’s In Corfu is good.

Wolf Hall is great.

Would also mention Grantchester and Bleak House.

Endeavour - great series, which got me interested in a whole bunch of other British detective series like Inspector Morse, Lewis (sequel to Inspector Morse), DCI Banks, Luther, Midsomer Murders, White Chapel, etc.

Miss Scarlet and the Duke - more lighthearted than Endeavour. The first 3 - 4 seasons were enjoyable. It kind of fell off after that.
