I agree with you. Looked pretty dull, which is why it will be nominated for an Oscar.

I really wish PTA would quit trying to make Oscar bait movies. Boogie Nights was a great, great movie. I really like Magnolia a lot. Inherent Vice was fun.

There Will be Blood was not fun, but still one of my favorite movies. The cinematography and the music were incredible. Watching Plainview slowly remove the nice guy mask was amazing to watch.
