Some see themselves in the enemy and it upsets them. Just enjoy the show. Even in Nazi world Augie was a good guy. Some good exists there. They didn't have time to flesh it out.

I see more call the left communist then i see the right called nazi. But besides the point we are talking real NDASP nazis in the show. Not just idealogy. The actual third reich. It made for a great twist. A shame so many saw themselves in that world and took offense.

Maybe the US still has some of its constitution in place. I guess that was odd. You would expect police to act more like in Man in High Castle.

I mean that's what it really comes down to. We're talking actual, full-on, wearing the regalia and everything that comes with it as Nazis. There isn't a bunch of commentary of how someone might be "like" a Nazi.
It doesn't come off as lazy. It's legitimate alternate universe building. I did appreciate the emotion nuance of Peacemaker's Dad being like "I don't like this, but I just put my head down and do what I have to do" part of it.

Eh...not really. This is a Hollywood version of Nazis. Judomaster said they love Jesus in this dimension, and Peacemaker's dad even evokes God as he's making his whole speech. Nazi Germany persecuted Christians. Actual Nazis allied with Muslims in the middle east as they had a common goal of eliminating the Jews, and in fact Muslims were even part of the Nazi German forces.
If they were trying to portray actual Nazis, and they weren't cowards, they would have actually portrayed Nazis the way Nazis actually were. It's not like there isn't plenty of historical evidence they could have used.

Nah, it's lazy. Nazis hated Christians and courted Muslims. This is well-documented. There would be no mention of Jesus or Christianity in a Nazi-controlled reality.

Did they really? What a bunch of morons. There is literally no comparison to be made between modern conservatives and Nazism.
Now, there IS a political movement today that believes in a race hierarchy, wants to silence speech, and actively pushes for disarming law-abiding citizens, but there's no chance Hollywood is going to put out anything that's honest about that.

Lol. Its a show about superheroes. I'm sorry you are offended by the way they showed nazis. It was meant to be a shock. I mean they were driving Fords chevys and Harleys instead of all German cars. It wasn't totally accurate. It's a silly show.

No, they were too cowardly to portray Nazis as aligned with Islam/Muslims. Instead, they showed them as allies with Christianity/Christians, which is false.
