Andrew Garfield did not.
Total pay for playing Spiderman up to 2020.
Andrew Garfield - two movies $1.5m
Tom Holland - five movies - $16.75m
Tobey Maguire - three movies - $120m

Holland got roped into a 6 picture deal after the MCU had already become the biggest thing ever and comic book movies in general
Tobey signed on when Spider-Man was a legit risk so it was only for 1 picture and then after it became a huge hit he could shake sony down for every penny

The story says they right about to recast Tobey in Spiderman 2 with Jake Gylinnhal.
I didn't know Spiderman gave him back issues too.

There are 8 and 6 of them have been pretty good, one was decent and 2 were mediocre to bad

nah, the Amazing movies are definitely worse than mediocre but that isn't Andrew's fault at all. The writing wasn't great but the editing was just god awful. There were scenes filmed that would've helped a lot but they were cut into a slideshow or montage instead...they focused WAY too much on Peter's parents which nobody gives a frick about.
But watch any of the action scenes in TASM... the shots are nice, the action is good, there are a lot of practical stunts... but whoever was editing the movie decided to make it dark as hell and have a different cut every second.

i have been pretty out on MCU movies for awhile, just fell behind and dont care to catch up.
Why would disney pay Tom Holland? they poop out movies and people still line up
