I don't know if it was my favorite movie this year, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. I don't have a problem with it getting so many awards.

I'm so happy for Bong Joon Ho. He's done so many awesome movies. Snowpiercer. Mother. Okja. The Host.

Incredible movie, one of my favorites I have seen in a long time.

Loved it and it deserved it.

I liked this year's set of nominees much more than a typical year's. Happy for Parasite. Happy Bong Joon-ho will be able to do whatever he wants in the immediate future. Happy a Korean movie has been recognized at all. Sad Greta lost adapted screenplay to Jojo, but otherwise not nearly as many complaints as I normally have.

What's going on with Kale's melt? Do you guys think he knows Korea is a capitalist economy, or that parasite was a massive financial hit?

The Host and Mother, as well as Memories of Murder, are all-timers for me. I really like Parasite, but I rank it as his 4th best.

Just wanted to say I agree with this bit. Haven't seen Jojo yet, but when I learned there was another Little Women being made, I wondered why, then I saw it, and thought it was damn good.

If Saoirse had won, I probably would've gone as mental as I did for Olivia last year.

Saoirse Ronan was fantastic, would have been a worthy winner.

However, I wasn't crazy about the Pulp Fiction editing of the story. It's confusing if you don't know the story, because the characters look exactly the same in every time period.

Decent film, terrible year in film when I can’t think of one better.

I wanted Saoirse to win just to listen to her adorable Irish accent.

Just watched on Hulu and loved it. It was fantastic and I'm probably going to rewatch tomorrow. I love that it told a full story and didn't feel rushed. I really got to know the characters.

It was entertaining, but I'm not so sure it was Best Film of the year.

I have a hard time understanding how anyone could not like it. Even my wife’s sister watched the entire thing, and she’s gotten up and left so many great movies. I guess the different language and subtitles can be a negative, but that just seems lazy.
