Decent film
But I recommend saving your $ and waiting for redbox
And Sandra bullock is easy on the eyes but they make her look like shite most of the time

No thanks. Two actors I can't stand trying to make a movie above their combined intellectual level

I don't understand how movies like this get made. What about that plot makes people think "man, I wanna see that"

Under the right direction, it could have been a satire with hints of dark humor like Thank You for Smoking. But from the trailer you could tell it's another shitty Sandra Bullock vehicle.

I mean whenever this was greenlit, what audience did they think would be interested in this plot? It caters to no one. I just assume the writer was a friend of Bullock and she got BB on board and got it made

Well from what I have read about this movie is that Clooney produced the movie and was supposed to be the lead. Then he and the writer decided to change the part to a female character and Bullock got it. This was all based on the movie Gravity they did a year ago. That is why it was greenlit. Little did they know it would bomb the way it did.

Gravity was successful because of state of the art visual effects and CGI. A friend of mine bought it in 3D just for the opening sequence. Beyond the visuals that movie was terrible, too.

Like I said in the OP
Save the $ and get it for $1 at redbox if you want to see it

I think it would have made a much better HBO original movie, much like "Too Big to Fail", "Recount", or "Game Change".

This movie would have been shite even without Sandra Bullock, the single most overpraised actress in Hollywood. She is the Crash of actresses. Her performance in the Blindside was so poor, I laughed at her Oscar nomination. When she won, I realized how full of shite the Oscars are.
