Looking for a new series to watch.
I love the gladiator, braveheart, 300 etc
Is Spartacus Actually a good series or do people like it bc it has tits in it?

They go a little overboard with the eye candy and the dong showing but it is an entertaining watch. Is it as good as Rome? No. But it is a fun show to watch.

This. They overdo it sometimes - nudity for the sake of nudity for guys and girls alike but it is a good show.
The actor switch took some getting used to though.

not starz best, but entertaining. black sails is much better if you're looking for something along the same vein

ETA: while it's highly stylized, it does have some interesting tidbits of history that were enjoyable to follow.

It is legit. It's got something beyond the violence and nudity. Probably character attachment and the underdog angle. And Andy Whitfield is terrific.
I will say it loses some luster after Whitfield, and there are some really bad scenes in those last two seasons. But the decline does not void the entire series.

I really liked the first two seasons, but not the last one. The actor who played Spartacus in season one died and it just wasn't the same.
Also, they like to say "cock in arse" when things go to shite.

honestly I felt like he was a better fit for the role spartacus took on as leader of the movement. the guy that died was great also.
Great series, ive watched it at least 3 times.
btw I think batiatus was one of my favorite characters in tv history. The "prequel" series that focused on batiatus was the best imho.
also, alot of insanely hot women in this series.

I am a big fan of the series.
The last season was ok at best. Seasons 1-2 are very good imo. the prequel series is also solid.
