Really poor timing to release this movie
I saw a trailer for this 3 months ago before Kirk, ICE, the Minneapolis shooting etc. based off a book written in the 80s.
I think the author, director, and actors are idiotic captured leftists, but to pretend like it is being released with any malicious intent to modern events, is retarded.

I don't think anyone is doing this. You can have some really bad luck with the timing of a release plus you always have the option to delay the release if you think current events will hurt your box office.

That’s fair but this isn’t The Savant on streaming where you can just bump it and have all the streams come later on.
This release was strategically done to not fight October-Christmas releases and get into the Oscar hunt.
Again, I think probably everybody involved with the making of this movie is an idiot leftist in the Hollywood bubble, but moving movie is very different than delaying a streaming release.

I don't disagree, delaying would have been expensive and maybe not worth it. Originally it was supposed to be released August 8th, WB just had some really bad luck with political violence being front and center the last few weeks.

Yep, or to rewrite the film entirely like what they did with scream 3 after Columbine.

I'm so confused how you lasted the whole movie.

Yeah, no

That’s what they did with scream 3. Oddly that was Miramax, a Weinstein company.

Whatever. They could have delayed it given the assassination but of course they didn't.
And it doesn't matter when the book was written because the liberal Hollywood writers turned it into an anti trump/anti white person movie and you know it.

Why would they? The people crying about it now will be crying about it in 6 months too and they still won’t go watch it.

You’re right. Why would they when they knowingly created it to foster more misguided hatred of law and order. Antifa has been around for a minute. They’ve been burning down cities and inciting violence for years. This movie is their love letter. They are the bad guys. Human trafficking is not some funny thing. I find it amazing that Benicio went from Sicario to this. From right to dead wrong.

You can tone down the hysterics. Nobody is getting radicalized by a PTA movie.

You cheered Kirk's death with your texting buddies didn't you?

Nope, and they have Peyton Manning doing TV spots for it. An R rated movie.

Nope. I also voted for Trump so your whole “everybody I disagree with is liberal” schtick isn’t going to work. I can just watch a movie that doesn’t align with my politics without having a complete meltdown. You should try it sometime.

This movie kicked arse. I want to watch it again already.

Are you trying to claim immigration and antifa haven’t been a huge problem the last 10 years? The incidents you cite are just the end result

You turned it off in the theater?

i was about to go off on you saying that i was talking about antifa being real and a bad thing in this thread last page, but then i realized that was in another thread where TT9 and Jay Are were trying to play dumb that "Antifa doesn't even exist"
