Can't say I've ever read any of the Mitch Rapp books, so I have nothing invested in it and really have no qualms about it.

The Jack Reacher book I read, The Killing Floor, was so formulaic and anti-climatic that I finished it only because I spent money downloading it. So I had no qualms about Tom Cruise either.
