Have you ever been in a state building? I assure you everything is 20yrs old.

I just watched the episode and I'm kind of confused about the ending...
...why was the Voodoo stick figure thing in their shed?
Because the child posted on the billboard that went missing was related to them. They sed to watch the child and she used to play in that area. They believe the father has the child and moved out of state but it appears that the child was a victim of the killer once the stick figure was found in the shed.

I could see Martin wanting to arrest the wrong guy just to close the case and get a raise, promotion, etc. and that not sitting well with Rust. I think that and Martin cheating with the paralegal and Rust with Martin's wife being another part of the downfall of their partnership.
I get this and it makes perfect sense but I can't figure out how they would remain partners for another 7 years if the above were true...

Did it seem like the brain injured guy was trying to say more?

I got the impression he had his own opinions on what happened to the girl

There's no way that Rust is the killer. Mentally unstable, yeah, but not the killer. I think it's highly likely we haven't met the killer yet.

I imagine we'll find out in the next 7 episodes. I like what the first episode set up; I may rewatch it again before this Sunday night's episode to see if I can notice anything else.
If they're going to do a new story every season, will McConaughey and Harrelson still be in the show, or will they have new lead actors each season?

Just hope they do better with the one-plot-a-season deal than American Horror Story has.

The producers said they could be interested in bringing them back if they'd be interested in a second season

id love it, but i dont think A-listers like those guys will want to keep devoting big chunks of time

Isnt Harrelson a producer of the show?
Posted on 1/15/14 at 2:45 pm to wildtigercat93
