Yea, I sometimes forget that myself. No ill will was intended just looking for open debate on a subject. Sorry if that hurt anyone's feelings.

open debate is one thing. that's not what this thread has been about.

I made a comment about how they used the 337 area code in 1995 (didn't exist then) and thankfully I didn't get blasted for it. However, I have to wonder what the meltdown would have been had Woody's character said he played ball at "UL" or the "University of Louisiana" as opposed to "USL."

I can't believe someone was bringing up baseball scholarships and tuition costs for a background character.

Its actually a valid point to make. A lot more valid than accepting anything writers throw at you because you can't think past being entertained. But hey, digest the shite if it tastes like what you've grown accustomed too from television.

Really, you want to make how much a partial baseball scholarship was back in the 80's or whenever a valid point. You have got to be trolling, no one is that vapid.

lsu baseball only gave out 11.8 scholarships so lets assume the guy got half a scholarship. back in 1980 the average lsu tuition was 3k a semester. so clearly the fontenots needed to be at least middle class....oh my god who the frick cares.

If this continues there is no way this can be a season long thread, we are going to have to do individual episode threads, especially since this one has devolved into a shite show of idiotic complaints about non-issues.

What they should have done was show how Skip was funneling money from other entities to makeup the difference for a partial scholarship. They really should have delved into this background characters minor in posession he got at a tailgate while attending LSU also.

There was no point to be made. I stated I would have preferred if they had made the Fontenot family middle class. It would have reflected better on LSU and the state.

I had no idea stating an opinion on this board results in such hysteria.
