Already saw it, wasn't impressed. It's a fun beat em up movie, but the story kind of blew. Tried too hard to be another GotG.

That's definitely what I've been reading. A movie full of jokes with no stakes whatsoever.

Exactly, felt like the whole thing was phoned in. Worried about Infinity War, was really excited for Thor too.

This was the best Thor movie by FAR. The story moved quickly, the action was great, and Thor and Hulk had their best showings in the MCU. But... it really had no emotional resonance or aspiration. I was really looking forward to Hela and it seemed like she disappeared during the movie til the end. Blanchett was great as always, but I was hoping she would be given a little bit more weight. Still a great ride and very enjoyable movie. I thought Hulk had the best and possibly the most engaging showing, even through the CGI(which was done incredibly) his character showed the most real emotion. The fights were freaking great.

I would agree it's the best, but that's not saying much since most people don't even remember the second one and the first wasn't great either.

The whole Hela story pissed me off how they handle her. She was one of the better parts for sure.

Would agree that Hulk was a lot of fun. Way too much humor though, your home world is being slaughtered, but we have time to crack all kinds of jokes.

Looking forward to it. I enjoyed both Thor movies but understand why people don't. I've been very excited for this movie and sounds exactly what I was hoping it would be.

I liked it the most of all the Thor films. Blanchett was believavle as Hela, and she was pretty tough looking when her hair was down, (for Cate Blanchett) but I wanted someone a little sexier and less intense. Her portrayal didn't match the campy tone of the film. I would have cast someone like Kate Beckinsale.

Valkyrie is tough, and Loki is Loki.

Still sitting in theater wondering how many after credit scenes there are... only been one so far

My favorite Thor film by far and I am a fan of the other two unlike a lot of people.

I thought it was really good. Only one thing I have a problem with, and it's more of an issue I have with marvel as a whole.

Should've been called Thor: Flight of the Concords

There's deffinitly a lot of jokes. And it gets a little ridiculous at the end with them writing in a joke at every single dramatic scene.

There was a sweet spot with the jokes I felt tho. The ones early on really missed their target and were low hanging fruit, and then in the middle of the film they balanced it perfectly hitting the perfect jokes in the perfect times. Then towards the end, the actual jokes were funny but they were timed out at weird moments that undercut the actual impact of the stoey

The middle of the film makes the whole thing worth it IMO

The last Bruce Banner one was the one that just made me go wtf. It’s like did he just snap his neck in two from that? You know he is gonna hulk out, but that drop was a bit too high for that joke.

Well, I liked it, but I didn’t love it. It’s a movie of lots of great enjoyable moments, very likable characters, and good humor. All the characters are used to great effect.

I don’t know what it is, but there’s just something that doesn’t tie the movie together in the same way Guardians did. I just went into the movie expecting to love it, but I didn’t. Definitely worth the price of admission, but there’s something somewhat off about it, even though it is by far the best of all the Thor movies, and I love the Thor, Loki, Hulk, and Valkyrie team-up.

Also Dr Strange was so forced in there. This is something Marvel forced on the director I’m sure, but someone like Edgar Wright would tell them to frick off.

Probably in Cumberbatch's contract to be in it. BTW, saw it, liked it.
