Where is this leading? They didn't have that happen for no reason? Sorry if it was already discussed.

Honestly, I'm not sure. It could lead back to something that happened in the comics, but Kirkman stated that he wishes he had never gone down that path. It would make no sense for him to do it now. Maybe it was symbolic that no one escaped unscathed from Rick's plan? Maybe Rick will try to hide but the walkers will smell the blood and he'll get trapped? Who knows, at this point?

And remember, this wasn't a normal suburban community, this was a "new kind of green neighborhood" with solar power and Eco softness all over.

They hadn't learned to even hunt, they were still out foraging through houses for all of their food.

THATS ALL FINE. So maybe they die. But none of them die with pride or self respect. There is a natural percentage of people in any community that have courage. But not in this communitity.

I think that the writers are trying to portray that the people of Alexandria still have hope for the future, that everything will be sorted out and go back to normal. Thus, they're pussies who have not or will not adapt to this new world. Our group knows that this is the world now.

I don't believe walkers can smell? They are attracted to movement and sound only right?

clearly they have to be attracted to some sort of blood/flesh smell, because you can mask your scent by covering yourself with walker guts.

I think he hand thing could be interesting. Maybe Rick is forced to amputate his hand. But that wouldn't make a lot of sense. We've seen characters get cuts before and they get walker guts all in the cuts, so I don't think his hand will get "infected" that way. Second, when Hershel got bit in the leg, Rick acted very quickly to amputate. So it seems like he would have done the same with his hand if he really feared that he would turn if he didn't amputate.

This has happened many times and has got to be one of the more serious flaws in the show. Are we really supposed to believe that the infection is only transferred by the walkers mouth?

Ummmm...

Yeah, here is Glenn and Nicholas:

I was remembering the other scene (with Michonne and company):

I remember thinking there were a lot of walkers there and then seeing that shot and thinking "Oh, there aren't as many as I thought." Got that mixed up with the Glenn scene. And I echo what several others said earlier about how the frick could Michonne and/or dreadlocks black kid not put that dude out of his misery. I thought the kid was gonna shoot him in the head with his last bullet, but all he did was say "Let's go...we don't have a choice" (which was related to Michonne telling him that sometimes you don't have a choice, I guess). But I couldn't believe that they let that dude just suffer like that.

Also, here is my analysis of it not being Glenn that is being eaten. Glenn has a khaki looking jacket, but a blue-ish shirt, and when he falls, his jacket is wide open and we can see his shirt:

When the zombies start feasting, they feast on a light khaki shirt. Nicholas is wearing a sort of khaki shirt with a khaki jacket, which looks like the same thing the walkers are feasting on:

And a few seconds later, you can still see Glenn's shirt is a different color than what they are eating from:

Also, rewatching that scene makes it even more ridiculous that instead of Nicholas's body just falling down limp and dead, it sort of falls ONTO Glenn and forces him off the dumpster.

And good call to whoever it was that said maybe the RV didn't start because it threw some pretty big sparks after it was shot by that wolf. Here is a screenshot of that:

And I forgot to ask earlier as well...what, if any, was the significance of the jar of whatever that Rick pulled out of that wolf's jacket? Here is a capture of it:

That sort of confused me since they focused on it so long.

I assume you mean 'not' put him out of his misery, and yeah. Stab that dude through the eye or something, don't just let him get torn apart.

I believe it was baby food, so some sort of indication that they had been in Alexandria before finding Rick.

It was baby food, which caused Rick to realize that they had been at Alexandria.

I didn't post a single spoiler or anything from the speculations. Other people talking that Yeun is still on set, I found that from THIS thread, no where else.
I have no idea if he is alive or dead.

I wasn't talking to you, just in general (you were the last post in the thread). Don't be so defensive.

It's whatever (and Scoop labeled it well). I just felt like that kinda spoilerish shite belonged in the other thread instead of this one, so I threw out the question.

I'm pretty sure they were the same people that Morgan let escape in the previous episode.

Morgan told that dude "Our people have guns. Yours don't."

So in that time span between getting kicked out of Alexandria to the RV (which is what, like maybe ten minutes?) they managed to find a fully-loaded AK-47? I assumed the pistol that one dude shot at Rick was the one we saw him pick up when Morgan let him go, but what about the fricking assault rifle?

I don't think at this point anyone is arguing anymore that Glenn is the one actually being eaten in the shot. it's whether he makes it out from under that without getting eaten himself.

Could have been in the rv all along? Or was a wolf carrying it?

Didn't Rick have the assault rifle? And he had it on his back the whole time he was running. (Before he got to the RV and got it moving.)
