They interviewed one of the dudes who made it from ATL and he said the order they sing vs the order the show shows there performance is completely different.
I guess the guy went like 2nd overall but they didn't show his performance until the 3rd or 4th show

Don't forget the model chick who had that annoying voice. Based on talent alone the guy should have been on, but I hated him within 30 seconds of his coming on the screen so I'm not too upset about it.
I will agree that I dont understand their choices sometimes. Most of the time I think they get it right though.
