I enjoyed the hell out of it. Wish they hadn't cut the rumored scenes that Hayden did. But JJ did the best he could with the shite sandwich he was handed.

They were only rumors. Nothing was filmed. It would have brought the saga full circle by having the Chosen One be the one to come back from the dead rather than Rey. It would have also fit with the title. Hell, Luke should have risen from the dead too.

Maybe I missed it, but I don’t think they even bothered to explain why crossing two light sabers is as effective as crossing the streams.
Guess they play by the same rules as ghostbusters.

Sat back, enjoyed it, left theater.

Did Rey take the crystals out of the two Skywalker sabers to make her new one or am I missing something?

He gave Rey Leia’s saber but what did he do with his green one?

Dunno im have to see Star Wars Theory break this down. Unless she got her own crystal from somewhere that'll be explained in a book

Was it just me or did Harrison Ford look off in that scene? Was he wearing a wig?

I just love that this movie says frick you to Rian Johnson.

I liked the movie, my one question I have though is didn't Luke's saber break in Last Jedi?

Bro, you’re taking a movie way too seriously

It broke but she “glued” it back together. Rian apparently set them up for her to use a double bladed saber but J.J. went back to Anakin’s for some reason.

There are a lot of legitimate things to complain about in this movie (which I’ll get to at some point this weekend), but everything you mentioned is from you either not paying attention, not processing, or not remembering.
Most of the people writing negative reviews of this movie aren't really writing about this movie, if they've even seen it, they're just still writing about TLJ. And I'd be willing to bet that most of them have not seen this movie yet.

The sole reason for them being there was to capture members of that group yet we’re led to believe some other random transport we never see went to the exact same spot to do nothing but land then return to the destroyer empty handed.
They showed two landing craft in the first shot.

I'm just glad Chewbacca finally got his goddamned medal from Yavin.

I'll admit I was holding out hope that Pryde and the rest of the First Order were going to arrive at the Final Order fleet and discover that Thrawn was in charge of Palpy's navy.

I was pleased, I feel like it was the best they could have done with what they had to work with.
I also like that the movie played like an apology to fans and I don't mind being pandered to.
They had something from every previous episode rolled into this one. If it really is the last iteration then it was akin to them flashing my star wars life before my eyes.
There were a lot of things about which specific one of Luke's sabers she had and exactly how the force transfers physical matter from one place to another via projection that I don't think is very consistent or understandable but not enough to ruin the entire movie for me.

Plus she killed him using his own weapon and reflecting his energy. She didn’t strike him down a la Darth and Obi-Wan.

The Holdo Maneuver comment was so awesome.

Other than the ability to explain why Rey/Kylo could pass physical items back and forth through the Force as they communicate, quite literally everything in TLJ was extraneous and unnecessary.
