I think that was kind of the point. The peons celebrated believing they are going to be debt free and corporate America was fricked while the CEO was relaxing with white rose with not a single frick to give.

There are two cliffhangers. The first one deals with what the frick happened to tyrell/was that him knocking on elliots door? And the second one deals with white rose chilling with evil corps CEO

Season 1 was IMO quite a bit better than season 2. Hopefully season 3 is more like season 1.

I am always intrigued by how a writer can approach the timing of a shows events when he has no clue how long the series will last beforehand?
