They are shutting down L.A. again, so I would be surprised if we get BB this summer.
Would that even matter? If the players are sequestered for 2 weeks and given a clean bill of health, they aren't going to come in contact with anyone else in the house among themselves. Tbh the big brother is probably the safest place you could be

How people constantly for 22s consume reality tv without getting sick of it is crazy to me
Women love the shite tho. Smh
I'm not above it I enjoyed the real world and even the challenge for some years but then truly great tv came

Maybe, but how many are on the production crew that set up the challenges, re-stock the pantry, come in to fix things, etc.? Assuming they would all have to be quarantined and tested prior to filming as well.

LINK
It's a Twitter link, but it is a graph showing social media patterns among the rumored houseguest over the past week. Some might be telling, some might not. Some people may also have someone taking over their account.

Dan just did his live stream today. Said it was just his normal week off in July and he will be streaming the rest of the summer. Derrick was also on the stream.
He made comments suggesting that he wouldn't be on BB. He also responded to comments on if he was asked to be on BB by saying he couldn't answer that. Is it common for people who turn down the show to also sign a NDA? If he was asked, and said no, why can't he just come out and say it?
Don't know what the hell to take from it really. A lot would suggest he won't be on BB. A lot of his responses seemed trolly.
So, will he be on the show and they haven't started sequester? Will he be on the show and they let him stream from sequester, to throw people off? Or is he just not going to be on the show?
Derrick also said he couldn't leave his kids for 90 days.
Discouraging news, and just more confusion on who will be on, and when it will begin .

If you think Derrick, the undercover cop, is stupid enough to go on the show in the current climate our country finds itself in, I have some swamp land in a Sahara suburb to sell you.

Well Derrick was strongly rumored to be on the show. I was just reporting what was said yesterday. Relax a little.

TMZ - 'Big Brother' Season 22 Will Feature All-Star Cast, Happening Despite Coronavirus
quote:
"Big Brother" is coming back this summer with an All-Star cast for Season 22 ... coronavirus pandemic be damned.
Every year, "Big Brother" shoots during the summer, but due to COVID-19, there was lots of speculation 'BB' would be another casualty of the virus ... but we've learned the reality show is still ON.
Production sources tell TMZ ... "Big Brother" was in the middle of casting for its next season when the coronavirus outbreak hit. We're told casting was completely shut down in May, leaving execs to change the format to an All-Star edition instead.
Our sources say an All-Star cast made the most sense, because those contestants are already familiar with the show and have already been vetted by network execs ... plus it would have been difficult to cast fresh faces for a new season in the middle of a pandemic, a process we're told would have dragged on for weeks.
quote:
The coronavirus isn't preventing another season, but it is delaying things a bit ... we're told contestants were supposed to head to Los Angeles at the beginning of July to begin testing and quarantines, but the timetable is being pushed back to the end of the month.
Our sources say, contestants, who are flying in from across the country, will be tested for the virus and then quarantined for 2 weeks before being cleared to enter the "Big Brother" house.
Should be smooth sailing once contestants are in the house ... it's been a bubble-like atmosphere long before COVID-19.

bullshite. A season of all stars would take him out because he was good at the game and not because he's a cop. That's been the complaint about returning players mixed with new players - the new players act scared of the vets.
Derrick would struggle a second time around. People who know the game like this cast full of vets won't fall for the "awe shucks, I'm a dad/park ranger" BS that won it for him the first time.
Maybe Derrick doesn't want to play based on the success he's had with his TV series but I doubt he's dodging the house based on cops being unpopular at the moment.

I wish all stars would include good players and not the Ravens, Kemis, and Davonne's of the world. Bring back Vanessa, Cody, etc.

I have a really big, some even say YUGE press conference...
and a Royal proclamation scheduled for later in the week.
I can not "legally" say anything about it, but I will be playing prerecorded Dick at Nite Shows for the months of
August into November.

Yeah, I agree with all of that. My response wasn't in reference to his gameplay.

I wouldn't say "dodging" as much as he's probably just not interested in having every word he says twisted and misinterpreted by a very vocal minority on social media that are very negative on his vocation at the moment.
In my opinion, he seems like the type that would be smart enough to see that its not worth it at all.

God I hope so, I liked him enough on his first season, but he has been so unlikable the last few years. I've had to unfollow him when he went full anti-Level 6 2 seasons ago.

There isn't an official anything right now. Tons of rumors, lots of trolling going on. All we think we know is it's an all star season.

I really loved this show's first seven seasons, hated the next three, stuck around for a couple more, and finally gave up on it. It was a great show before Allison Grodner took over.

I get the hate for reality TV, but BB has always mostly been a summer diversion for me. With no kids' sports going on, me working shorter hours most summers, and just a slower life in general, it was easily digestible and most seasons have been entertaining. No way I could invest 3 nights a week to it in the fall or spring, not to mention reading live feed recaps every morning.
