Memphis tried talking game with Janelle, asking what she thought Cody would do and stuff, and she just kind of shut up and didn't respond to him. There was a couple seconds of awkward silence. Memphis then got up and said that he can't believe he got back in this game. It definitely didn't seem like they had pregamed.
And Memphis seemed to honestly not know what Cody would do. So if Memphis and Cody pregamed, he put on a good show for Janelle.
And Tyler has been with Cody most of the night. He is definitely getting his face time with the HoH.

Christmas just caught Nicole F & Ian talking game in the pantry. Nicole and Ian were talking about working together because they are the only winners. But it was obvious they were talking game.

Nah, if he and Cody pair up they are pretty much going to have just comp out to stay alive.
He won’t be able to maneuver politically like he did before imo. Everyone knows his game now so he’s going to have to just form a strong alliance and hope they win more comps than the other side to get numbers.
Plus, he even said his biggest mistake last time was making promises to too many people. I don’t think he’ll go that route again.
At least not until after jury when the group with numbers will have to turn on each other. I could see him trying to plot at that point.

People always say this but time and time again we’ve seen players come back for a second season and run the exact game they were successful with.

I liked Tyler in season 20 but even I can say he had flaws in his game.
I never got over how when Bay snapped at him in the bleeding from the mouth incident, he ran upstairs and cried in Angela's lap for 20 minutes like a little bitch.
Yeah he's a hell of a physical player but he kind of lucked into L6. Granted he was a huge part of their success but I'd say Kaycee doesn't get enough credit for Tyler being able to keep L6 together and get them as far as he did. That and the total incompetence of those on the other side who had no clue what was happening until it was too late.
Maybe he's learned from those mistakes and his time with Angela has him more mature.

Yeah Tyler was a likable guy to me but I always thought L6 was a true team effort.
Like you said, Kaycee was a real stabilizing force for them, and Brett and JC were huge in terms of the actual manipulation that let them pull the moves they did.
Tyler only really played mental games on Katelyn and Sam, two of the bigger basketcases they’ve ever had in the house
His misting of Katelyn early on was definitely the key to setting them up or they could have been wiped out early on though.

L6 was kind of just a perfect group, especially since they were cold enough to cut off their own when Winston and what’s her name became sacrifices for the core group to survive.
He also broke his own rule about hook ups. I mean, Angela is worth it, but still that could have come to bite him had they not been able to win comps when they absolutely needed to.
So he definitely didn’t play a perfect game, but was just cool and made it fun to watch.

This is the main thing for me.
Winston was cut because it had to be done. Rachel was cut when the other side started getting into her head and making her believe that Tyler was working against her. Even Angela was doubting Tyler in that moment.
When that happened, Kaycee found out and ran to Tyler within minutes. Within an hour, the plan to evict Rachel was in place and she was gone the following Thursday. Had Kaycee not ran to Tyler that night, the plan was for Tyler to be backdoored that week.
Same could be said for Brett. When he decided it was time to take out Angela and break up L6 earlier than he should have, he was the target overnight and was out of the house the following week. With that group you were with them until you were against them, and at that point it was too late and you were up on the block and out of the game.
I can understand Tyler being bummed by Kaycee not being in the house. Much like Cody and Memphis, he hasn't played any of the game without his ride or die that ended up beating him in the final 2.

Would you have preferred Brett to have gone home early instead? Season wouldn't have been as great had Winston stayed over Brett

And let’s be honest, L6 was great but only matched against a group like Foutte could they do any of that shite
And even Foutte was lovable in their way. I really liked Fess and Hayleigh, Rockstar was a glorious train wreck, and I honestly loved Katelyn. Even Swaggy was fun to watch in his own way, although I was happy to see him go.
Bayleigh was the only one I really disliked, so of course she’s back. I just think her holier than thou attitude will inevitably rub many people the wrong way so hopefully she’s out soon.
Oh and Scottie. frick that nerd

Hell no, that was my point. The remaining members of L6 + JC made the decision to keep Brett and boot Winston because they knew exactly what you just said. It wasn't like they cut Winston by choice - they had to do it. Brett was much better at the game once Winston left. He used it to his advantage as the loner in the house to throw people off.
The only reason JC/Sam made it longer than Brett is because Brett knew that Tyler was going to take Angela over him and started planting the seeds to get her out before JC. When that happened, Brett was done.
It just goes to show how great an alliance that was. One member cut because he was on the block against a stronger member, two members cut for turning on the alliance too soon and the other three made it to the final four with the other person in the final four basically being a member of L6 in JC.
Tyler does get all the credit but in the end it was a well oiled machine and when it was working no one in the house could do anything about it. Socially I've never seen anything like it in the game.
ETA - the best part were the late night HOH talks when they would throw together all that each one of them had learned throughout the day. They did so by ripping everyone on the other side collectively. I don't know if I've ever laughed more at the feeds than Brett, Tyler, JC and Angela in the same room together doing the retells and impressions.

Yeah I have all access but rarely find the time to watch it.... BUT, I'll be all up in this thread and on the BB app to find out the highlights each day!!
I never could just wait for the episode. Plus, sometimes the episodes are edited in a manner that just doesn't match what's really going on in the house!
