I agree 100% with you. The comps have become far too elaborate, which has caused them to be more physical. They still have the question comps and a true crap shoot comp or two during a season, but there are far more physical comps than there used to be. The endurance comps used to be like the Pressure Cooker where the players had to touch something without letting go while just standing there. Now an endurance comp is having to stand on a wall that slants you to an almost horizontal position while shooting you with goo, or having to hold a rope for dear life that is basically on a merry-go-round while you are spinning. It makes it far too easy for the more athletic people to form an alliance and steamroll through the season.

Probably right, but as annoying as Julie is, I can’t imagine the show without her as host. It would change the whole dynamic. In the past when she talked of leaving it was always questioned how the show would survive. But maybe that’s what’s needed I don’t know. A complete revamp of new network, production, casting, host etc
ETA - but really that’s too much. Might as well just shut it down before doing all that

I think Julie is an absolute garbage host. Have you ever seen BB Canada? The host is something Cox (Charissa, Larissa.. something like that). She's amazing. The seasons I've seen of BB Can put the US to shame.

I think what bothers me the most, is if Tyler gets himself put up, cBS and Day will go out of their way to portray her as a gaming genius and the master mind behind him being on the block. She‘’lol be in the diary room flipping her hair around like she did this.

Oh I 100 percent agree Julie is terrible host. But that’s it - I’ve only watched US all these years, and I can tend to be a creature of habit is all. I could even be a better host than Julie, so I’m sure I could get over the hosting change pretty quick. May need to make the switch to BB Canada.

Maybe the show would be better served on a different network at this point. Show doesn’t need Julie Chen. I don’t hate her but she’s not irreplaceable.

Tyler knows this. It's great publicity for their jewelry company and Angela's book as well.
Part of his issue is he's worried about Angela handling the hate on social media and her/their sales suffering because of it. But again, he knew this when he entered the game.
