Taran's update has gone downhill with the race baiting this week.
Today - black co-host says Bayleigh is being mistreated because she's black, but refuses to comment or attack Bay for her awful "I'll poison the jury" strategy when Taran calls it out.
Majority of POC fans of this show, especially on social media, can't feel sorry for Bay while acknowledging just how terrible she is at this game. Same applies across the board - the black players are treated like they'd be great in a 50/50 house split when really I don't see it being the case. Another frick up that falls on Robyn Kass.
ETA - later, co-host goes to say "how amazing would it be if Tyler had a power and could save Bay and put Dani up!" To which Teran replies - "yeah that's likely not happening since Bay made sure everyone knows she's going after Tyler and Tyler knows."

The problem is they pulled in so many different people to participate with him in a clear attempt to satisfy a diversity push in the wake of BLM. Some of the new people are solid, but many of them have zero objectivity when it comes to commenting on Bay/Day's game. (I'll give credit that everyone eventually came around to realizing David is just bad at the game.)
I like that Taran doesn't really put up with that bullshite. He'll let his cohost play sympathetic ear, but he always acknowledges the game moves for what they are. He likes Day/Bay as players but readily admits how badly they bungle their own game.

Exactly and she's wrapping her segment today by going on and on about internal biases and how the game is broken, after spending the entire episode pushing that narrative. At this point, the entire audience fricking gets it.
I would rather listen to Taran for an hour than have Taran with people pushing agendas that have nothing to do with the game. The push right now is really eight whites, eight blacks.
This entire episode, she didn't say anything negative about Day or Bay's game, and there's plenty of things to say. But she was more than willing to jump after Dani and Cody for flirting in conversations. Because that matters.
ETA - she went on and on about how Bay is getting an unfair wrap for being violent, and Taran ends the episode with "I'm sure we'll see Bay punching a wall after noms on tonight's episode."

I totally agree and I have to admit I didn’t consider how bad that would mess up an all stars type season at this point.
BB should have anticipated this and somehow tried to minimize how that would work.
Honestly splitting them into four groups like in S18 or 11 would have been smart imo. Force them to bond and depend on others on their team instead of just gravitating to people they know outside of the house.
That is the only thing I can think of that would have made this more interesting, and even that may not have saved this mess

It's also frustrating because any insinuation that Bayleigh and Davonne being nominated together is due to "internal biases" is a slap in the face to anyone watching. Bay/Day are the only in your face two person group in the house. They're as close to a showmance as can exist this season.
I don't like Christmas, but getting one of a known pair out is a pretty tried and true strategy. It's not her fault that the two black women in the house chose to pair up and make it very clear that they're working together.

I wish that CBS would just do a month long, true legends season of Big Brother. You're trying to tell me you can't get the true best players for a heightened pay and a max of one month? Run it during February sweeps.
It's the primary reason why Survivor is able to get better contestants - it's only a 40 something day commitment. It's just too hard for people with actual jobs/professions to get 80-100 days off.

That’s not a bad idea. Similar to the style of that ‘Celebrity‘ BB season. 30-40 day accelerated season.

At least Christmas is a woman so it’s not the white man nominating the 2 black women.
It has nothing to do with race—they’re obviously a duo, and all duos need to be split if anyone wants to win.
Davonne is the only racist in the house because she said she’d never vote out a black person in any circumstance. Imagine the outrage if Memphis said he’d never vote out a white person?

This is why one of them has to go. They've made it so clear to the house that they have a true unbreakable bond. If you have a chance to break that up pre jury, the right move is to do it. It was the same reason getting rid of Janelle/Kaysar, while bad from a numbers standpoint for some, wasn't necessarily a bad game move.
No other duo in the game is this close and I think any and all other duos would turn on one another if it came down to it, even Cody/Memphis, Cody/Dani and Cody/Nicole. Which, wow Cody is in a lot of final two type deals.

Will be interesting to see how good he is at jury management.

Cody is underrated. He's a boring player but plays a great social game.
I'm thinking Cody and Christmas are in the best 2 spots currently. I hope Tyler, Memphis or Ian win at this point, though.

Why do they do the nominations on Friday and the power of veto on Saturday? I feel like an extra day before the nominations would allow more strategy to happen. I know this season there isn’t much strategy to begin with, but in theory.

For many years it's been Fri-Nominations Sat-Veto Comp. Mon-Veto Ceremony. Tuesday and Wednesday for campaigning. I agree that they should spread it out, though.

....Enzo then relayed his conversation with Bay to Christmas.
Also, everyone look at this hypocrite:

I really have grown to dislike Nicole, Dani and Cody in that order. All three are way too comfortable. Leaving Nicole in another few weeks is an awful mistake, but the same could be said for Cody and Dani as well since both have made it to F2.
ETA - Tyler and Memphis have made it to F2 as well. Enzo to F3. I'm absolutely amazed the losers on the outside have no idea what's going on until it actually happens. You're all being picked off by the best of the best left in the game. It's like watching what happened to FOUTTE minus the amazing gameplay it took by L6 to make FOUTTE look so bad.
