Right... but instead it looks like we're getting Austin and Vanessa actually trying to work with Audrey/Shelli/Clay; instead of doing any work to rally the troops and get Liz, Steve, Johnny Mac, and Becky to join with them. Obviously they'd still be at a minority but then you could potentially swing someone over to your side if you're actually able to win HOH control.
So, we have a majority alliance (no matter how tenuous) between Clay, Shelli, Audrey, Jason, James, Dayvonne, Meg, and Jeff with Jackie as a kicker (Jesus, that's a lot of people) that can pick and choose who to get rid of because the rest of the house is just going it alone for the most part.
Just no incentive if you're in the big group to go after someone in your group yet (unless they're crazy which is why I kind of want Audrey to win this coming HOH because she might be looney enough to try and backdoor an ally just to "make a big move.")

Thats the one good thing about this takeover thing, when things get boring, the producers can shake things up

Oh shite, Vanessa just told Day she used to gamble for a living. Shes going on and on about gambling and all to Day. Keep in mind, everyone thinks Day is a teacher, but she's really a poker dealer. She's playing stupid right now with Vanessa.

Sure, but in practice those events tend to just arise when they're trying to protect someone (I'm sure Audrey will get a Diamond POV or Coup D'Etat at some point this season).
However, I am beginning to think we might see a Takeover tie in with the Big Bang Theory. Sheldon Cooper shows up and reveals that Steve, Johnny Mac, and Vanessa all have slight Asperger's. So if that happens, I'm all in.
