They went in Friday. They go in early so they have enough content for the first episode, and to give them time to acclimate, and they give them a rundown of the house rules and procedures. The only live shows are the eviction shows.

I thought smart money was to LOSE the HOH. First HOH means a really BIG target on you immediately.

Hopefully Battle of the Block only lasts a couple of weeks. It really ruined the flow of the Sunday episodes as well as reduced some of the best feed-watching to just one night (not enough time for people to campaign/scheme over nominations). The house figured out pretty early on that if all the strong people team up they can likely run roughshod over the pre-jury folks and fix the BOB so that the right set of nominees stays on the block. Think it ends up reducing strategy and making for a far more predictable show (just going by our small sample size last year).

Lots of crazy-eyed women so far as well. Ole girl with the 7 month old child at home looked the sanest of the four in the house so I don't know what that means.

Good showing by Asian Donny and Hayden's annoying doppleganger. I'm interested to see if Varsity Blues can go one diary room session without mentioning A&M.

Nope. They both came in the week that the first Horseman was eliminated (Scott). The look on Jase's face is still hilarious to re-watch. Pretty much put the nail in his coffin (with Nakomis executing her six finger plan the next week to get him out).

For WG_Dawg, the second twist is that one of the houseguests and his/her twin will be alternating in the house at sporadic times, playing as one person. If they make it through five evictions without being found out or evicted, then they both play the game as individuals (see Season 5, Project DNA, Twist #2).

ETA: Since this a straight up rehash of that Season 5 twist, I'm hoping some of these other twists will be based off past ones (ex boyfriend/girlfriend, secret partners, I'm guessing we'll get some sort of coaches showing up).
