Austin is such a selfish pussy to be doing that to his girlfriend back at home. I feel bad for the girl and have no clue what her name even is.

I don't see how the guy doesn't get it. He tried to set up a picnic with her last night and ended up eating dinner at the table with Vanessa and James because Liz didn't want to eat alone with him.

The funny thing is is that he is the #1 target for the other side of the house. Jason, Meg, James, Jackie, & Becky (with Shelli and Clay just sitting there taking it all in) were all planning out their targets for next week. They were trying to decide if they want to backdoor Austin or put him straight up. I'm thinking they are going to put Liz and Steve up, and then try and backdoor Austin. But Austin and Liz were talking about trying to bring Jason in on a side alliance, and Jason can't even stand Austin.
Shelli and Clay seem to be in the best position in the house right now. Both sides think they are on their side. It'll be interesting to see if they give Austin and Liz a heads up on the other side's plans.

They had discussed putting him up against Liz and convincing him to throw it to save her.
Shelli and Clay were on the couch with James, Becky, Meg and I think Jason last night. They know that the other side is coming for Austin, but they seem on board with the idea. They will protect Vanessa and want to work with the twins, but no one in the house seems eager to save Austin. Vanessa might, but they told her yesterday that she's being mentioned as a possible nom, so I think she knows Austin leaving might save her for another week. Audrey blew her game up and she's laying low looking for a way to recover. Problem is, the big targets leaving are leaving Vanessa exposed and vulnerable.

He already told her if she went up, he'd sacrifice himself for her.
After seeing his actual girlfriend, and her sister saying that they weren't on bad terms and were pretty serious when he went in, I can't for the life of me figure out what he's thinking. His girlfriend is actually pretty good looking. Why he'd want to sacrifice that for someone that it obviously DTF anyone but him is beyond me.

Yeah, my bad.
But her sister also said that "she never ever agreed to open relationship or to explore other options". So that sounds pretty serious iyam.

Yeah, it was James, Becky, Meg, Jason, and Jackie. One of them even said "This would make a good final 7". Clay and Shelli just sat there and didn't really say anything. They were just taking it all in.
I'm just curious if Clay and Shelli are going to at least give Vanessa a heads up on what they heard last night. I bet they tell Vanessa, but I could see them being hesitant about telling Austin and Liz.
But at some point Clay and Shelli are going to have to draw a line in the sand when it comes to the other side of the house. But if I was Clay this week, you couldn't pay me to win HoH. If clay wins HoH, and he doesn't put up Austin, Liz, or Vanessa, then the other side should know right away that him and Shelli are working with Vanessa and her crew.

It all depends on HOH, but the "Freaks and Geeks" alliance is in trouble. That conversation last night was everyone except them.
If Clay doesn't win HOH, it needs to be Austin, Steve or Vanessa. If not, it'll be Austin, Steve, Liz going up. Where would that leave Vanessa?

Vanessa could definitely end up being the fourth BoB nominee if two people from the other side win HoH. I think it would take a lot of things to happen for Vanessa to go home this week, but if someone from one of her alliances doesn't win one of HoH spots, she's probably going up on BoB.
But let's say Austin does go home next week, Vanessa is still in a pretty good position as long as Shelli and Clay stick with her. She'll still have those two, both twins, and Steve.
The next couple of weeks will come down to how tight the two main sides of the house really are, if the Jason/James/Meg side can convince Shelli and Clay to abandon Vanessa and the twins, and if they actually start forming some real strategies. Up to this point in the game, that side of the house really hasn't been doing a whole lot besides sitting back and talking and getting picked off.

Maybe, maybe not. He could let the other HOH put up Austin or discuss a backdoor situation and let the other HOH win the BotB. This way he sort of plays along but in the end he isnt the one making any tough decisions.
If he doesnt win, he is most likely going on the block unless only Austin/Shelli/maybe liz win.

If the other HoH's nominees win, then Clay's nominees will be the ones on the block. If the other HoH puts up Austin and say Liz, there is no way in hell anyone is going to convince Austin or Liz to throw the BoB. They will fight like hell to get off of the block. The only people Clay could put up is Steve and maybe Becky. Right now, he is considering the possibility of putting up Austin to make it look like he isn't working with him, but there is no way Austin or Vanessa will allow that to happen. If Clay wins HoH and doesn't put up someone from his side of the house, the other side would be ignorant not to know where he actually stands, especially after what Audrey told James and Jackie.

Who's going to put him up? James, Jason, Meg, Becky nor Jackie will put him up. I doubt Johnny does unless he does it out of revenge for putting him up multiple times. Vanessa ain't putting him up. I guess Steve could, but I just don't see him being in trouble this week since that side of the house is still in the dark about his true alliance.

I'm just ready for the new nominees. Same people on the block every week. I want to see how Vanessa and her crew handles being put on the block. Vanessa would have a break down.
