There has been nothing on screen or off it, nor anything in anything that ever happened on Breaking Bad to suggest that Kim is working behind the scenes as the brains behind Saul Goodman
There's nothing that proves it, but there has been plenty that shows it's possible, even likely that she is involved.

I agree with the J+K=S; it could be plausible... but but but we don't see Kim in BB... we don't need to, Saul is a side character, not a main one. That's what BCS is for...

Just so we're clear, what would be your "proof of concept" of this theory?
What role would Kim have to end up playing for you to say "see, I called it"?

Exactly. I can't wait for a scene after one of Walt and Jessie's major problems. I would like to see Jimmy turn off the Saul persona and tell Kim what he really thinks about Walt and also get advice on how to handle him from Kim.

Except for all the womanizing things he says and how he carries himself. Francesca treats him very differently, and with all the random times he is called on by Walt and Jesse..just seems as if him and Kim were still as close, she would sometimes be around somewhere.
I think she breaks somehow. Not Jimmy. She moves back to Omaha.

You can't take much that Saul says in BB at face value. He told Walt about his second wife.

She would have to know he was up to no good and assist him with legal advice. He may only give her hypotheticals so she will have plausible deniability. She would probably also need to be profiting in some way. This could mean either she gets a cut or she is in a relationship with Jimmy so it's all in one pot anyway.

May have had one early on in his sunroof days.

I hope Ham is right just so I can see some flashback (or would it be flash forward?) scenes of Kim leaving the office and going to the bathroom or to McDonald's seconds before Mike appears to threaten harm to Saul or Jesse arrives and beats the crap out of him.
And seconds after they leave, Kim walks back in and is all "Holy shite, Jimm, I mean Saul, what just happened?!?"

If I am right Kim won't be anywhere near Saul's activities. He would want to keep her safe and her career safe. That is why he will move to that shitty office.
Any contact they have from that point on would be discreet.
Burner phones and late night meetings.

Yo dudes, check this out. I'm watching an X-Files from 1998 called Dreamland. It has an evil Michael McKean.
I may need to do a spin off thread on X-Files guest stars from Vince Gilligan world.

The zoom in slowly really brings out and portrays the nefarious and anger of Chuck. Chuck is not a pretty man physically so it just exasperated it.
I am impressed by this show and continue to look forward to it weekly.
And then the Exit sign and Chuck in the same shot...he just wants to do that after it was said...

That's not exactly J+K = S. That's just them still being friends while keeping a professional distance.

BS. If Kim is participating from a distance and benefiting from it she is just as guilty as Saul. Just because you aren't in the same office doesn't give you immunity.

What would she be doing to make her "half of Saul?" Meeting Jimmy under an overpass at 2am to discuss getting Badger off on a possession charge? Was she the one who found Lazer Base to pitch to Walt? Saul doesn't need her for any of that stuff. It doesn't make sense to me because it wouldn't serve any purpose other than a forced feel good ending, and that's not Vince's style.
To quote Ramsey Bolton, if you think this story has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

Clearly its not a happy ending. He ends up with a creepy stalkerish mustache and working at a Cinnabon in the mall.

Another classic, slow 10 minute waste of time intro that we have become all too familiar with for this series
What I loved most about the flashback scene with Chuck and his ex was that the basis of his story covering for his "disease" (the story about the electric bill) involved the transposition of address numbers. While the whole scene had its obvious relevance later on, that was a nice little bonus.

You know, fun stuff like money laundering, helping drug dealers, tax evasion.

That's not an ending, that's just..apparently where this hybrid of a show really "starts".
Prequel..BB events..then Gene.
Sorta like a trinity saga. I hope.

I'll play along, even though you still can't come up with anything that has happened in BCS or Breaking Bad that supports this. Let's say she helps Jimmy with stuff like that and takes a cut. That doesn't make her half of Saul any more than it makes Saul half of Heisenberg. Of course she would still be guilty of any laws broken, but your theory is that Saul is some kind of Captain Planet concoction of Jimmy and Kim, not that they continue to do business together in the future.
