my theory on what will happen with the Gene story line. Gene passed out due to a major panic attack at the thought of him bringing attention to himself in a way he has been avoiding for some time.

Coworkers will call 911, and paramedics will arrive to help Gene. He will freak out even more at the added attention and leave in a hurry. He will seek out immediate help, which happens to be Kim who relocated back to her hometown nearby Omaha.

What happens next is anyone's guess. Maybe Kim will be pissed at Jimmy and try to turn him in or simply say she can't help him. Either way, I think he kills himself which will be the end of the series.

Of course this will be strung out over several glimpses into the future over the remaining seasons.
