When Saul said he's in their phone right next to their drug dealer, was anyone else waiting for Jessie's name to pop up?

Jessie would have been a teenager when that was taking place.

And?

FWIW, Pinkman would be 18 in 2002, which is when BCS kicks off.

He was a drug dealer in high school and beyond so the dates are really irrelevant.

I still hope Skyler makes an appearance. Just like a huge bitch raising hell in the grocery store or something.

I could do without ever seeing Skyler again. It will be pretty cool if/when they do a Walter White cameo. Wonder if he'll be cleaning Saul's car at the carwash?

FWIW, Gilligan has already said that Walt and Jessie won't be making appearances in Season 1.

I think that is good. I don't want forced cameos just to make us go ooooohhhh and aaaaahhhhh. I personally like the small tidbits like the diner being in common and things of that nature. The ones that make you think and you have had to really pay attention in the past.

That Mustang in last night's episode that was parked next to Saul/Jimmy's yellow car wasn't made yet if they are in 2002 or so. At the very earliest that was a 2004 Mustang (for that body style).

Whoops. I just hope the don't make any really sloppy mistakes. The dangerous thing about prequels is you can really dampen the overarching story if you present characters in a worse way than the viewer's imagination.

Silly question -- but will the pilot be re-airing before Episode 2 tonight?

I'm not at home right now, but I believe when I was setting my dvr up to record it I think it was showing tonight before episode 2.

They are replaying the final 8 Breaking bad episodes now, followed by last nights, then tonight's at 9. If anyone is bored, Ozymandias starts at 425
