Alright just got back from watching it in IMAX 3D. I stayed for the first bonus scene in the mid credits. Was there a second one at the end of the credits? If so, where can I see it at or what happened?

If you loved it in 2d, wait for the 3d scenes. I recommend bringing extra underwear and maybe a sock.

Do you think they'll have Thanos, as pictured here, with the Infinity Gauntlet? If so, how the hell is anyone going to stand up to him? Unless they bring Nebula and Adam Warlock into the mix... Which seems a bit ridiculous.

Also, I still think the best superhero movie would be if they ever actually came out with a Deadpool one. I would love that.

When scarlett johansson's arse in 3D is one of the lesser great parts of the movie in 3D, you know it's worth to see it in 3D.

As I typed this that Siri SLJ commercial was on.

Caught it last night and just wow! That may have been the most fun I have ever had in a movie and based on crowd reactions I heard many people would agree. It was exactly what fans want in a comic book movie. All characters were given their fair share of screentime (including Fury, Black Widow, and Hawkeye) and Wheldon blended it all together perfectly.

To those comparing it to TDK and that will compare it to TDKR...don't. This is really an entirely different genre with the only similarity being both are comic book movies. For my money, Avengers is the best TRUE comic book movie ever made and easily top 5, probably top 3 movies with comic book characters.

I'm not getting the hate on Cap in here...I thought everyone played their part quite well and he came across to me as that legendary faultless leader of troops that he's supposed to be which I didn't get the sense of in CA:TFA. The rest were awesome with Hulk having a fantastic showing..I was skeptical going in but Ruffalo played the real Bruce Banner which was awesome to see.

I will definitely be seeing it again and cannot wait till 2015, 2016, or whenever the second comes out.

Scar Jo wasn't looking too hot in those beach pics from a few weeks ago. I think that leather suit was covering up a lot of cellulite

she's not a twig. They probably let her eat again and if you saw photos from a tabloid, sometimes those things are manipulated like a bitch. Had a friend who did some freelance that happened upon a celebrity hottie and was like OH shite! *snap snap snap snap*. Sent them to one of those gossip/tabloid magazines and they changed his pics to make the woman look out of shape. I saw the original and their copy and they only vaguely looked alike.

Well put...

Cap was real conscientious of the civilians, where the others pitched in because cap told them to.

Oh and concur...hulk is in my top 3 favorite characters and he damn near stole the show

I watched it on IMAX 3D this morning at the Rave behind the mall. The theater was (of course) sold out well before the movie started at 10:30am.

The crowd applauded at the end (which is a rarity) and the vast majority of folks stayed for the first teaser. About 1/4 stayed for the final scene.

The crowd was pretty jacked during the Thor/Iron Man fight, then ramped up a little more during the Thor/Hulk fight. They absolutely lost their shite during Hulk/Loki (which I still say is the most hardcore arse-beating I've ever seen in a major motion picture - "puny god" indeed ).

Saw it tonight, it was very entertaining, but I enjoyed last summer's XMen much more myself.

Its probably just because I've never actually read any comic books, so I enjoy origin stories a lot more. I had seen Iron Man and Captain America before this, but not Thor.

As a non reader of Comic books, I think they shouldn't add any other characters. It gets really confusing and convoluted when too many of these characters are added just to appease the fans of the books. It doesn't make for a good story.

Just saw it....loved it. This was easily the best Hulk portrayal. RDJr was great as usual, and Jeremy Rener was superb. I don't read comics, but IMO, I don't think this could have been much better, outside of ScarJo nudity.

I just got back from watching the best superhero movie I've ever seen.

Captain America was the glue that held the team together, IMO. And they had the right amount of Hulk. Great moments too, I can only liken it to Yoda showing up and whipping out his lightsaber. I was surprised with how well Hawkeye worked into the team on the big screen. Loved his quiver customizing his tips.

Mad props to the actor that played Loki.
