I watched a lot of VH1 as a kid, so i probably know more pop culture stuff from the 60s-90s than i do about the current era

So im now on my rewatch of the new season

episode 1 is hilarious after seeing everything

i like how Michael and George Michael are going up the steps to the dorm and Michael sees a guy listening to headphones and while looking at GM,

laughs and says "you see this guy, he thinks he's a musician"

at the time, i didnt understand it, but after realizing that this is basically the music dorm and George Michael is in college for music, that guy IS a musician and so is GM

also, if you pause the screen when Lucille Austero is writing the $700,000 check to Michael, you see her ledger for previous checks

the 2 previous checks are for sombreros for Cuatro and $400 for various flavored juice boxes.

this show is amazing

Also in Episode 1:

George Michael was talking about how he looked up his name online, he said:

"I did a something search on my name..."

I never caught that. I thought he was just excited to be going back to Burger King for breakfast. My mind is blown.

Dr Funke's 100% Natural Good Time Family Band Solution + the actual purpose of FaceBlock

ETA: Also the baby toy George Sr made the timers from the Cornballer into for GM

ETA2: I meant FaKeBlock

I must have missed that too. What did it have to do with music?

FWIW, I watched the entire fourth season dozing in and out on my couch

It was a woodblock...and his passion for the woodblock was what FakeBlock was originally created for. It was supposed to be a wood block app, but the obvious names like Woodblock, Block Wood, etc. were taken so they went with FakeBlock.

You definitely need to watch Season 4 again. It's amazing and deserves your full attention.

So what episode do yall think was yall's favorite? I'll have to come back to make a conclusion, but it would either be the first Tobias episode or the Maeby episode (which surprises me). I lost it with the "To Catch a Predator" and Maeby doing the count punt speech.

I didn't think about the music school angle. I did notice that the guy walking down the stairs had a mustache. On the George Michael episode Michael says to GM to shave his mustache because people would think he was a musician.

Oh, that was pure genius. I watched the first 6 episodes as soon as it came out and that was one that had me rolling
