I'm so glad Shannon didnt get kicked off this week. I think she is A LOT better than her last performance. I think she will redeem herself next week. I think Elise will bounce back strong next week also.
I really enjoyed Skylar's performance this week. Also I now officially have a thing for Hollie Cavanagh. I don't know exactly what it is but I think she is a great singer and really pretty.
Colton and Phil Phillips are the best two guys IMO. But this season looks like it will be female dominated as It starts to dwindle down. This season is just loaded with good female vocalists. Erika is a really good singer. Sanchez turned in a hell of a "I will always love you" performance.
Jeremiah isn't going to last too much longer.
Ledet is entertaining. I enjoyed his performance last night.
Falsetto hair boy is alright. I'm just not a fan.
Lauren Alaina looked great tonight.

-i agree with most of what you said bee...there are 2 girls that are beasts, and another 2 that are very good...
if i had to predict a final 5 right now i'd go(in no particular order) : jessica sanchez, hollie cavanaugh, colton, phil, skylar
with the gaga looking girl and the big girl having a slight chance to overtake someone for that fifth spot...
-i like joshua, and i think he's very good, but i think his gospel like style might get old...he may not be dynamic enough to stand the test of time

This is a solid top 5. Sanchez has a great voice, I'm not doubting that at all. I'm just not sold on her having a great chance of winning though. I just see her style of singing becoming boring to those who vote. I could be wrong though. That's just how I feel from watching the trends in voting over the years of this show.

Yeah, Joshua will definitely begin to become stale over time. I think he is a good performer and I really liked his performance the other night but I'm with you and Jimmy in thinking that he will begin to get a little old with his style.
I liked Erika Van Pelt's "I believe in you and me" performance. I was surprised when I read different websites and he was receiving lots of criticism. I think she has a pretty powerful voice. It will be interesting to see how she will do with the different styles of music idol forces you to sing each week.
I basically gave it away in the other post but I'm going with Hollie as my pick to end up winning. This could change as we are still Left with 12. But I see her in it for the long haul this season.

I know she is only 17 but I don't feel bad about saying she is a pretty girl.
