I didn't think he was gay because he is a preacher's son... NOT because he is religious. Call me naive if you want, but I'm dropping this subject after I post this though, because it is OT, and I don't want to carry on this very sensitive topic. Just like I said, I shouldn't have even said anything.

It's pretty bullshite that Phillip made it through this week. This was his week to go.. He's pretty much a lock for the final now that he's still in it. His second performance last night was truly horrendous. That was a joke of a top 5 performance. Simon would have taken a dump on him.

One of the reasons the second peformance wasn't so good was because he had technical problems and couldn't hear. He had to remove the earpiece. You probably noticed that. I'm not sure the song would have been great, anyway, but it's a fact.

I like him, but he didn't have a great night. I want Josh to win.

I don't, but I'm clearly in the minority in this thread.

I'm sorry, Gris. I guess I forgot about that, because you don't gush about him like I did with Skylar & Bee does with Hollie.

I love going back the next day and seeing what you all thought, but can we please stop talking about shows I don't watch? One singing cometition is enough for me.

By the way, one of these days I'm going to get online and discuss with y'all live. The thing is, I usually only get on Tigerdroppings when I'm at work. Also, I hate watching Idol live because it has to have more commercial breaks than any other show. I especially hate watching the results show live since all I care about are Jimmy's comments and the results.

Fo those who said Britney shouldn't be judging a singing competition, how is she any different than Paula or J-Lo? Same type of performer, same talent level, etc.

Skylar was the only one who could knock him off in the final with the country vote. Hollie and Jessica can't do it, unless the fix is in.

If it comes down to Josh and PP, teenage girls will go with PP all day long.

Hell yeah! Good riddance Skyler.

There is a music God after all. Wish her success, but thankfully don't have to hear her anymore.

Voting needs to be limited even if it hurts AI profits. Between the judges pumping poor performances to keep their crushes in the game and some terrible voting by the teenies the show continues to be a joke more often than not. Still stand by earlier take that Skylar or PP should be gone, and PP hasn't been good in consecutive weeks while Hollie has been very good.

My preference is a Josh/Hollie finale, but ain't holding my breath.

Sorry, got off on a tangent. We'll try to condense things just for you and stay on topic.

I usually tape it and start watching the shows after I can start to fast forward. I come in a little late with my comments, so feel free to join in. Bee will stay up and talk about this all night, especially if Hollie is still in.

I agree. I like P2, but I want Josh to win at this point.

Casey Abrams. He wasn't a looker, Bee, so you can't accuse me of just going for the lookers.

Bee, Burrito Boy wasn't a looker either. So there!

Every statistical analysis has outliers, Gris.

I don't think anyone needs to lose any sleep over Phillip. He is basically a shoe in to the finals right now unless something extremely drastic happens. I don't see his voting totals decreasing.

That's probably the best way to watch it. But I am weird when it comes to this show this season mainly. I have to watch it live for some reason. I DVR almost everything else I watch on TV but if I am able to, I am watching this Idol season live.

I have looked back a little bit in this thread and have seen that I have put some dedication into this. Morning, late nights, Afternoons. They are all covered at some point

I want Hollie to win in case you were wondering, Gris

ETA: Next week's theme is "California Dreaming". Not sure what that exactly means. California Related music? Singers that were from California? Not sure.

Well, I didnt watch last nights show, but I have read up on the results. It appears as though I am having some pretty stellar weeks in regards to who goes home (with the exception of Elise). I despised Colton and he left, I hated Skylar and now shes gone. I might just jump back on the train and watch next weeks episode (heres to hoping its either Sanchez or P2).

You're kidding, right?

I'm assuming it's the Beach Boys' music, but I could be wrong, even though that's rare.

Actually, I meant to say the Mamas and the Pappas, but it's probably beach music or something like that. Hell, I don't know what it is. Maybe it's songs that have the word California in them.
