Off Campus #1 show on Prime

Not sure if anyone has watched this. I really enjoy those classic teen dramas like One Tree Hill, The OC, Gossip Girl etc..
This show is from a huge book series and I’ve never read the books, but the show was phenomenal. It’s the most similar show to those classic coming of age shows than anything I’ve seen in a while. Good chemistry between the actors, good writing and there’s not a bunch of insane woke crap like most new shows.

I’m only a few episodes in and was encouraged that the flaming homo friend seemed to have disappeared, but alas…..they then had an episode full of figs. It was nasty. Really disappointed me.
I do really like the two leads though.

I watched it. My 23 year old daughter is into the book series so I watched because of that. The main girl looks like a young Brooke Shields to me.

I thought the first 3 episodes were kind of cheesy and they tried to force some of the sex stuff but the final 5 were great especially when it got deeper with the abusive dad and rape stuff

Halfway through the season and I enjoy it for what it is.
I enjoy youth aimed rom coms lol.
I love all of the tropes they incorporate from teen roms from the 80’s-00’s especially when the main girl declared her love singing to the main guy. Basically was a call back to when Heath Keger sang “Can’t take my eyes off of you” from 10 things.

Binged this bc it is advertised on Firestick constantly.
It’s basically a teen girl fantasy. The girls cast on the show are mostly homely average quirky nerds, and this group of losers somehow get a team full of male model hockey players to simp over them. It’s completely preposterous. There was way too much male nudity in it, sex scenes just to “throw a sex scene in”, and the acting from the lead male actor was too wooden. No charisma at all.
The music was the only refreshing thing in this series. But it’s meaningless fluff. If you are gay or you are a nerdy chic dreaming of having the top guys chase you around, you’ll indulge in this. If you are anyone else, it’s a show you’ll watch and then you’ll immediately forget it. There’s no humor, and not really much of a plot either.

I really liked it. It’s very well written young adult rom com. It’s a silly show, but they do all the little things right by developing side characters, giving legit reasons for the leads to like each other but not get together, believable conflicts that drive the plot. The main lead girl is kinda meh, but she has yuge tracks of land. Her roommate is a total smokeshow. There are constant excuses for dudes to be shirtless, so you know exactly who the target demographic for this show is, and it never pretends otherwise.
It’s not my favorite genre of show, but it is so far above the mean for shows in that genre these days that it stands out. It’s a good example of a show that your gf watches that you end up getting emotionally invested in because it’s actually kinda good.
