Hey in your title SPOILERS PLEASE is in all caps, but No is not. May want to edit that just to ensure there is no accidental spoilage, at a glance it kinda looks like you're asking for spoilers

Is it so hard for readers to not to post in these threads alluding to goddamnn spoilers? (or post anything for that matter?)

Jesus H.... it's like dealing with children.

I am a reader and I actually watch these threads to see what your predictions are, but I never post anything show related. Mostly I RA the guys that pretend to be non readers, but post theories that make it obvious they are trying to spoil it for you guys.

I hate spoilers. I found out who Kayser Sose was before I saw the movie and it scarred me for life.

Do you all think at some point everyone will be forced to rally around a king or queen in order to defeat the white walkers? I am not sure whether this will happen or not as it could make the whole tale very boring. If it does happen I doubt it is next season.

I feel like they said in the show that the 7 kingdoms must come together to defeat the White Walkers

The problem is when someone drops a spoiler (and we don't know if it is a spoiler or not) then someone confirms and says "dude no spoilers" or "you need to edit" blah blah blah.

For example ITT when some posts "XXX = rainman", I don't know if that's a spoiler upon first glance. Then, someone says it is, and now I know something I didn't want to know.

It's just a never ending cycle of fail.

I agree. That's why I just RA and never post a reaction. I wish others would follow suit

I keep picturing some Day after Tomorrow shite where everybody moves to Dorne (aka Mexico) except the people actually fighting the Walker's because winter never touches it. That would suck but all those evil bastards being stuck together in one area would make for some lively shanking.

This is the 2nd reader I've seen in this thread trying to act like a Hodor while trying to give away the same thing.

Haven't read any of the books actually. I'm waiting for the series to finish before I even touch them.

While I applaud your enthusiasm in keeping this thread spoiler free, I seriously have no fricking clue where this story is going.

I came in this thread hoping to discuss possible directions for the show, not to be part of a god damned witch hunt.

And is everyone here getting into a tizzy because I made a joke, comparing Hodor to Dustin Hoffman in the movie "Rainman"?????

I can't see Stannis, Greyjoy, and the Lannisters coming together for anything. I think Stannis goes alone to aid the Wall. Although a curious strategy, he does fit in to his generally religious motivations.

On the other hand, however super-competent Tywin is, we've already seen that his skepticism is allowing the world to slip away from him. He's playing an old game--but magic is back in the world.

So to the question of who dies first--Joff or Tywin--my money's on Tywin. Tywin has made a crucial cognitive mistake, and on the level of plot he'll probably have to pay for it with his life.

Good point, it is his nature to dismiss anything supernatural and it probably will bite him in the arse.

eta: Prediction... Jon Snow gives super dyke the tongue bathing he gave ygritte and ends the war in the north.

I'm going to try to follow this policy as well. I apologize if I've given anything away - reading-wise, I'm still in the first season - I stay away from the readers' threads - to avoid spoilers myself. I'm moving more and more to the middle ground thread, and still try to preserve the speculation aspect of it - rather than being "in the know" - I certainly don't intend to ruin anyone's enjoyment of the show (or books, for that matter).

My apologies if I pointed anything out, I was frustrated when I read it this morning. I'll follow the RA method.

I thought they were going to be the focus family with Honorable Ned at the lead. Only frick sticks and wankers prosper on this show.

We should also keep in mind that Tywin thinks the Stark men are all dead. This means that if he finds out otherwise, he'll try to kill them. I expect this will be one of Bolton's tasks...is it too much to also expect a Rickon corpse at some point? For some reason I think Bran makes it and succeeds in Winterfell.

GGRM obviously takes stereotypical fairy tale themes and characters and wipes his arse with them

I honestly think Tywin kills Joffrey. Although Joffrey is a full blown Lannister, his name is still Baratheon. Tywin only cares about the Lannister family name.
