The academy did mention the great Hollywood actor Michael Jackson though. Have to give them kudos for that.

In addition to Captain EO, we cannot forget The Wiz:

She was in seven movies. She was certainly more a TV star than a movie star, but she was more of a movie star than Mr. Pedo.

Farrah was as big a star as anyone in the 70's. Her roles later in her career were excellent. IMO one of the most beautiful women Ive ever seen.

Politically correct bullshite to leave her mention out and praise that child molester pig Jackson. frick him.

Farrah was actually praised for her acting on Broadway. She appeared in several movies. Her being left off the list/montage is obviously an accident and I'm sure we'll see an apology.

I disagree, while not in any "major" movies...You would be hard pressed to find a bigger star in her time....
Outside of the Charlie's Angels thing...
Burning Bed

Logan's run

I am pretty sure "Burning Bed" was made for TV wasn't it?
This is kind of like saying Heather Locklear is a movie star.

Now... if they have a similar lapse in mentioning her at the Emmy's... then that would be an oversight.

well I am just refuting the claims that she can't act. She could act, and pretty well. She was also in several movies, thus she is a hollywood actress that died this past year. She should've been in the montage. Period.

really? the dude putting the montage together couldn't wiki 'celebrity deaths in 2009' before starting?

what world do you live on. do you realize how many editor/reviewers this thing had to go through before being put on tv at the movie's signature event??

Nothing to do with Farrah being left out.

Neither were a shitload of the people in that montage. They actually has some cat who was titled "studio executive."

It was a frick-up, pure and simple.

She was nominated for a Golden Globe for Extremities.

Keep trying to say she wasn't a film actress and yet Mr. Pedo was a movie star.
