What a time to be alive. Every night I was up all night during the summer watching Gikkigans Island, Inkove Lucy, 3s Company, Cheers, Brady Bunch, I dream of Jeanie, and more.

One of those isn’t like the others.

Hated Pete and Pete and salute your shorts. . Loved hey Arnold and angry beavers.

Those weren’t nick at night though.

Angry Beavers is one of the more underappreciated cartoons of the 90's

Don't forget The Munsters...a staple of that 90s Nick at Night.

Friday after school routine in the early-mid 90s:

Get to video store. Rent 5 movies for the weekend with your brother or sister and a couple friends.

Pack into a Subruban with movie popcorn and candy.

Drive through and pick up pizza.

Go home and woof down pizza and a 2 liter coke.

Set up a tent in the living room.

Break out the popcorn and candy.

Count down to 7 pm For TGIF to begin.

Blast through 2 hours of TGIF as you and your siblings and couple of friends lay on couch cushions in the tent.

Tune into an hour or so of Nick at Night after TGIF.

Throw on movies until 2 a.m., probably something along the lines of TMNT: Secret of the Ooze....

...

You have achieved Elisium for a 9 year old.

90s late nite tv was great.

USA network was the shite on weekends. Those phone sex commercials were legit too.

Yeah it's when Nick at Nite actually showed old shows and not just shows from 10 years earlier.

Supposedly Girld gone wild was not a legit company. But I used to wait up late to watch those.

Only thing better then was Monster Vision with Joe Bob Briggs.

The Fly, Conan the Barbarian/Destroyer, Maximum Overdrive, Tremors, Army of Darkness, etc.

Glorious time for cable TV.

Even though I've probably seen every episode ten times it can still make me audibly laugh.

The facial chemistry between Al Lewis and Fred Gwynne was priceless.
