Yeah part of why they're splitting the second game into two seasons that plus there's just way too much to cram into one season

I saw where the director of TLOU said last week they will not pass the games story no matter what

I don't know how the last game left off, but this seems like an odd decision since they've already put any plans for a third game on the shelf.

I could see ND secretly working on the third game right now in some capacity. Of course Neil is going to say anything he can to squash any rumours since ND has a new game coming out soon and he'd want all the focus of the GA to be on that title and not whenever Part III is coming out. Considering season three will be the second part of the second game they have some time at least

Season 1 was a relative disappointment compared to the game.

Didn't play the game but the pilot episode was one of the better episodes of TV I've seen in a really really long time. I re-watched it that same week and again not long ago.You could watch that episode alone and view it as a great movie. It was that good imo.

Episode two was very solid and it got my hopes up really high. And then, well, you know, strawberries!

I guess S1 was okay but the biggest issue for me (besides the Ellie actress) is they removed the CBI airborne threat.

Based on the trailer spores seem to be in it probably as an evolution of the infected

Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann recently made headlines when he told fans to not bet on the developer making The Last of Us 3. Now, he's clarified those comments, saying "so many stars have to align" for any given project to come to market, so he can't guarantee anything as it relates to future Last of Us projects.

Speaking to CTV's Etalk, Druckmann said, "Every project I work on I treat it like it could be my last. I just pour everything into it and leave nothing on the table."

He added: "When we did the first Last of Us game, that's how I treated it--I wasn't sure I could ever get to make a sequel. It had to have a definitive ending. Likewise when I worked on Uncharted 4--same thing. [Same for] when I worked on The Last of Us 2--I was like, 'I don't know if I'll ever get to do this again.' It had this definitive ending."
